Well, i run 4 plants 20lt pots(~6 gallons) and i veg them for 4 - 4.5 weeks..i top them once above the 4th node..i bend them and get 8 colas from each plant..i clear the 1st 1/3 of them 4-5 days before switching..after this i DONT touch it till day 20..at this day, i clear the 1st 1/4 of the plant and, i defoliate the hell out..i take ALL the fan leaves WITH STEMS..so i give it 2 days till day 22 to recover and start powerfully the bud production process with perfect light penetration and airflow..after this i dont touch them till harvest, unless if a fanleaf covers another head when i take this leaf's life ;p..easy, fast, great yields(quality and quantity), with a lil bit of money for seeds..also this run i run 690w HPS2000k(with super lumens) + 270true watts LED(blue+UV spectrum) as supplement for the quality and maybe quantity also..thats all bro..!Easy and clean.!

Is the four/five weeks from seed or from sprouting or from topping? Same veg time for Sativas?

Yes would be expensive buying and doing sog by seed.... I grow in Dwc so veg is very fast (Especially if taken from big, healthy clones) with one week veg their over knee height with moderate to close node spacing. I was very surprised with how big they got as I've always vegged for 3 weeks minimum. I'll be harvesting a couple of Sqm scrog soon. I'll let you know final yield and will be interesting to compare with the sog that is 4 weeks into flower!

No problem dude, i personally run only indica/indica hybrid but i can help you with sativas also i think..better run 4 plants for better destribution.. you start counting from the sprouting day..the veg time is the same to let it mature enough..unless if u run more plants in the same canopy like Hydro4Life said..i dont def before flowering..i just clean the 1st 1/3 of the plant..i do exactly what i wrote above for the def and lollipop..over there is everything you will need..
