Yes - it sucks.
Fortunately there were only two bad spots and I cut them out.
I went to Costco and got some hydrogen peroxide and drenched the buds
but I wonder how deep inside the buds it got.
I will keep inspecting and cut down that plant in a day or two.

I just laid a 4x8 sheet of plywood over the pant (see post #74), which kept her from getting rained on, but it did nothing for the dampness, which is where you get molds and fungus's and not what. Fortunately i rode out the weekend with no problems.
Supposed to rain again fri night and all day Saturday, then nice weather all next week. I would like one more week before i cut her down, as she's really starting to fatten up nicely, and i like plump women.

Unknown. Grew from seeds that my gf gave me. 8 got sick in the greenhouse, and 1 culled when i found out it was a male.
Not bad at all trying to hold out for next week sun been keeping the ladies dry for now

Well.... the temp forecast looks reasonable for the next couple of weeks (7C night, 19C Day), but it's mostly going to be wet, rainy, damp weather, and i just had to cut off one bud because half of it was covered in a fine, grey mold (scared the crap outta me, but i checked the plant over and it only seems to be the one bud), so I'm not taking any more chances and pulling the plant today as the rains are a startin' again this afternoon.

ok, so now that i've chopped and checked the whole plant over, it's powery mildew. F!!!!!!
should'a known when i seen it on the leaves about 5 days ago and didn't do anything about it.
just gave about 15 branches a 5 minute soak in H202 and hope everything turns out for the best.
Damn! that's what you get for being greedy and trying to push the harvest.

Here is my misadventure.
One of my plants was starting to look a bit old and haggard so I cut it down.
The cola on it was nice and fat so I wanted to dry the whole cola in one piece.
Big mistake.
With high humidity in Toronto area, it did not start drying properly
but starting to go bad and did not smell right - as if rotting or going mouldy.
Now I need to make a proper drying room with a dehumidifier.

I am in Toronto also. I had to remove a bud or two but have been lucky so far. The plants are about ready to harvest any day now but I am holding out as long as possible. Usually I have harvested by now and last year it was Thanksgiving weekend. I staggered my grow this year with photos and some Autos.

recovered washing the harvest in a solution of 1 cup H2O2 to 1 Gallon (80 cups) of water. soaked and gently agitated the branches in the bathtub, and then hung dried them on the soap rack pole so they wouldn't drip all over the floor while i moved them to the basement for proper drying.
once in the basement I had the fan on them full blast for 15-20 minutes to dry the water, and now they're in the regular drying phase.
minimal damage or loss of trichomes.

next year i'm just going to spray the plant if i see PM with some H2O2 and potassium bicarbonate so that i can extend the growing season like i wanted to this year, but instead I panicked and cut my plant down.

I had PM on some of my plants this season. I used 1 part Dollar store mouthwash to 3 parts water. It cleared it up and it never came back.

Mouthwash works wonders on my hostas and roses for snails and slugs. Didn't know it worked on PM too.
I learn that lesson couple of years ago.So I stay on top of things covering plants if there long range rain in forecast and spraying plants when the rain is at minimum
Those r fan leaves they naturally go yellow during flowering ur plants look fine they r can colour because they sucking up food from fan leaves .those normally die off first .if they r nutrient burnt it starts at leaf tip

In southwest ontario, i place 4 stakes around plant (2 ends higher than other) and attach plastic sheet to tops and slope it. It becomes a dew shield (like a carport) and prevents mold for the most part.
I have used the H2O2 and water bath and it works nice.
Next year, may i suggest trying purple satelite or green mountain grape (from ace seeds). They are extremely fast flowering and you would harvest before thieves even think about stealing.
