check wit others but i think it will be fine m8 if its jus for the week!!! there is gen about a week inbetween switch over frm veg to flower as the plant changes.

I think this is day 15, still on plant start.

Now ive fucked up. The autos are on their own as ive got to put then on a seperate res for flower soon, so that means 5 cheese on the one tray, not what I had in mind.

Ill be putting the 2 germed cheese in 2mo, problem is I was going to start feeding the 3 2 week old cheese light nutes. How will I work this?

They seems to be doing fine on plant start at the moment, could I carry on that for 2 more week till the new ones are stronger?

I have a ppm, EC CF metre.....fuck knows what level I should be on though??

-Update on them. Ive not sprouted the 2 latecoming Barneys Farm Cheese.

My res has 50 ltrs in it, this is what ive mixed..

400mls of Vitalink Plant Start
Ph is 5.5

And to experiment ive just plonked 5ml of Bio-Plus & 15mls of Bio-Pac.

The CF meter says CF 16 (EC1.6), im not actually sure about where I should be there though.


So to clarify I have 5 just over 3 week old plants and 2 just sprouted. Will that mix be ok for the week im away?

I have algae, but blocked the light now + the odd yellow leaf, hence the adding the bio stuff to see what happens.

I done the holiday, came back and the autos are 31 inches, the cheese are about 20.....help!

what help do you need? can you raise the cheese or is everything still in the same setup?

3 are touching ther 31"
2 are in the 20"s

the smaller 2 want to grow but the situation might wreck them.

In a panick about space when it was time to top up I gave them bloom nutes. Only change was grow to bloom, other nutes are the same. BUT..I have not changed the light yet incase ive panicked so im in a hole right now and dont know which direction to take??

I tied up in the tent yesterday which gave me more light lower down. Can I go back to veg nutes? Or even can I just add grow to the res even tho I added bloom?

yeah you can switch back to veg nutes. i'd do it when the rez needs topping up.

I was thinking of hanging a 125w cfl red spectrum between my plants due to the over grow and lack of light getting to lower branches. I can get one for £30 right now.

Im talking vertically on its lead. This is in addiction to the 400HPS I have hanging as normall.


Would this help?

i don't think it would help. yes it will burn the leaves if they touch it. they do get hotter than you would think.

£30 seems a bit steep for a 125w cfl.

Lampholder & light that was for. Ive bent the cheese to make some space.

when i put a 250w red bulb in my grow it did produce nice little nugs right at bottom of plant where norm only be shite fluffy buds, dropped it right down through plants! i paid 25 for bulb and holder on e bay red is for flower and blue for veg sapfo. does up the temp 1 or 2 degrees though!! i reckon its worth the fuss

Ive added that 125 cfl red in the corner, but only one of the autos is getting the benefit. Its touching leaves and burning a little but nothing major. I wanna stick it right in the middle but there is a chance it would be surrounded by leaves.
