oh and listen to that guy londoner he sounds like he really knows what he's talking about. and Mr.Londoner to answer your question about the lights, their 25 watts floros and yes i do agree wit you on the fact that its not a good idea to crop in this thing but it is good for cloning or even just growing one plant to about three feet tall if all u want is some personal shit. also you can buy another top for it and start 100 seeds or clones at a time, thats what i use it for but i only clone seven at a time bcuz i dont have the different top i told u about bcuz i dont have room for a hundred of them basters plus i grow in a closet that only acomadates 10 full grown girls at a time..

just startin in aero gardenin myself - how long and how often are you sprayin the roots and what mix of nutrients are you usin? any help would be greatly appreciated!

does anyone know if i should trim the roots theyre growing hella god but i dont want to run out of room during flowering.
 
do they have any name on the pakaging at all? i'm using a home-made system so I need to buy all my nuets from local shops but you cant exactly ask which ones are best for growing ganja if you know what I mean!
 
dont quote me on this but i been told that the root growth tends to back off a little during flowering anyway so as long as you got some room it should be ok - i never heard of anyone trimming roots before...
 
im sure you can order the same tablets from the aerogarden site, or go to your local hydroponic store. the ag tablets are easy i just put 1 in on 1 day than another the next then the ag tells me when to put more.
 
nice - what part of the world are you in dude? i dont have anythin near me that even resembles a hydroponic store! has the store where you got yours from got a web address?

Type in aerogarden in the search bar, there are TONS of heklpful threads on the aerogarden itself, there are alot of people growing in them.
 
i started turning the lights off at 8 but the ag has a built in timer to only allow 8 hours of darkness so when i wake up the lights are already on. How can i set it for 12/ 12?
 
i cant only hook it up to the hood tho. the ag only has 1 cord theyre connected inside. will it be ok if the filter is off too?
 
you know the cord that plugs into the AG hood that comes off the main unit, you can unplug that, then get a cord with the same design, a figure 8 and plug the hood straight in the wall, or into a timer and control it separate from the res

the cord on the left goes in from the lamp. the one on the right goes to the outlet.
