Hey whats up just took my new plants out of the shit dirt and put them into my new AG SS6. You wanna talk about a night and day difference WOW. I had one that was doing ok but way behind on were it should have been. The other 2 died in the dirt. So i have 3 Feminized Super Lemon Haze plants going. One is about 2 1/2 weeks and the others are not quite a week. I also have added a 10-25 gallon air pump for a fish tank with a T and 2 small bubble stones. I just ran the hose through the filling door and put one stone on each side. A little extra air goes a long way for your roots. The hole extra air supply ran me about 10 bucks. They are loving life let me tell ya.
I have learned a little trick also just to let other growers in on. I let my plant grow as tall as about 4 inches then here is the tricky part. Take them out of your AG. Pull the cork with the plant out of the plastic caseing. Ok now carefully remove your small plant from the cork (Do Not Brake the Roots). Set your small plant on a clean paper towl. Now with a sterial razer blade cut the cork down the middle length wise. Cut about half way through the cork so you can lay it open. Its handy to have a friend to help with this. Wile holding the cork open place your plant back into your cork medium. The leaves should be about an 1/8 of an inch from the top of the cork. Now close up your cork making sure your roots and stem are in the center of the Cork. Take 2 small zip ties and place one around the top area of the cork and one down twards the bottom. Zip them semi tight around the cork. In my case i had to remove a small peace of plastic from the side of my holder to accomidate for my bottom zip tie. This will help a lot for hieght of your plant and so they dont fall over if the root has not taken a good hold.
I am using just the strarter niutrients that came with my AG. Mine came with the ones for Herbs. I have placed a order for some Fox Farm Hydroponic Grow Big and some superthrive. Should be here in about 8-10 days. The only other thing i use is 2 drops (only) of hydrogem peroxide per gallon of distilled water. This really helps with root rot and stem rot. I think i am not going to use the starter tablets after my others show up. I will post some pics here in a few days of the girls.
