Trimming/Pruning In Flower

Hello everyone! I have some plants here that will be 2 weeks into flowering starting tomorrow the 20th of November. I started November 6th. I saw some videos of people trimming/pruning while in the flower phase. Should I start now or wait another week? Also I feel like I may have switched into the flowering phase a bit too early. What is the ideal height I should be aiming for before switching to 12-12? I am using a 7ft high tent.

I agree with @JimHaddar, your plants look good and you should trim when you want. If growing indoors, I personally would have trimmed before switching to flower. If I were outdoors, I would trim once I saw the plant beginning to flower. After the stretch, I only trim to remove damaged leaves.
Also the ideal height to switch depends on the strain, your light output, the amount that you water your plants (not just pot size), the yield you want, space considerations, and airflow. I would research your strain/pheno and use that to judge, but be mindful of how frequently you water the plant because in my experience more water during veg and early flower equals a bigger plant (as long as you are not drowning/ overwatering the plant). Lastly, when researching your strain go to a forum where growers grow your strain (preferably your pheno from the seed manufacturer) because you will get better information and a lot of tips. Nice plants.

@Jim Haddar @AScrilla Sorry for the late reply, it's been really busy at work. Thank you both for the advice! I was able to get in the tent and do some cutting. I removed all the branches that were really small and didn't make it to the top as well as fan leaves blocking bud sites. When I got in there today I did notice some brown spots on a few fan leaves. I'm not sure if I should be overly concerned about it.
