right ... slight mishap :-(

came home this afternoon after bolting early this morning.... opened the cab doors to find plant #1 is Dying :-(

firstly in my bid to only water when water was required, i seem to have misjudged it by a day. plant #1 (second largest) is a mess hanging tops ..... crispy leaves towards the bottom and some rusty looking burns to the leaves in random places (mostly to larger leaves)

plant #2 has seemed to have faired a little better... however big rusty looking burns on some of the larger fan leaves :-( :-(

plant #3 (the runt) ... i havent bothered to look at this one as its always been a dissapointment and i was kinda too pissed off

so i have given them all 2ltrs of rain water .... didnt want to nute as i am not sure that lack of water is cause of the burning..... i have a feeling thats a newb error what pints the blame in my direction :-(

i can't even bring myself to take pics right now

:(

I'm sure they'll be just fine after a few days of water... sounds like it could be nute burn.

To cheer you up, I'm about to upload some pics :)

Mate, the way #2 looks now, you'll not give a damn come cropping day! She looks like she's gonna give you some lovely buds when she's done. And I'm sure the other two will do their best for you too :)

its almost as if 1 & 3 are one week behind #2 .... 3 is poxy really fluffy bud sites and seems to have a stronger side shoot then main top .... think easing its shell off at seedling stage might have messed with its melon :-), #1 is almost a carbon copy of how the big one looked a week ago :?.... dont know if its common to have different harvest dates from the same seeds popped at the same time??? or if its just #2 has been getting more light then the other two as its been in the middle the whole time?

I expect it could be down to any number of reasons, but your theory of being in the middle seems sound.

I'd say it's quite likely that they would start their flowering cycles at different periods. +/- 1 week, seems perfectly acceptable to me.
If that is the case then you'll have a week between harvests, which could be a good thing. You can be testing out the first one while the others are still curing! :)

yeah my thoughts too ..... i'll shift the other 2 to the middle when the first comes out (just incase it helps :-) )

just wondering how its gonna look in another 3 weeks :o

i think its simply i have used too much nutes, just before the drying out error i upped the bloom nutes to 2ml/ltr inline with the recomended for this stage... forgetting that autos don't really like nutes too much.... i have been through a couple of threads (well the ones where folks don't moan about helping people too much .... those threads are becoming more tedious then anything.) but i shall continue to monitor them and use just water for a while

I did similar things. I think to much nutes. not all at once but over a short duration giving me a low ph which in turn gave me a lockout and i even got a few burns too. Mistakes are good learning experiences lol
