Chris Christie says Mark Meadows appears to be cooperating with federal prosecutors against Trump

9,962 views Jul 27, 2023 #TeamJustice
There has been much speculation about whether Donald Trump's former Chief of Staff, Mark Meadows, has flipped on Trump and is cooperating with Special Counsel Jack Smith and his team of federal prosecutors. It has been a very long time since Meadows spoke publicly, defending his former boss.

One recent data point seems to support the conclusion that Meadows has indeed flipped on Trump, as this video discusses.
I’m probably just stoned or something, but what if Meadows’ story plays differently?

What if he played along and positioned himself as the focus of the conspiracies & collusions & backchannels as things progressed…SPECIFICALLY for the purpose of ratting them *ALL* out, with full orchestration & five-part harmony. What if he turns out to be focused, level-headed & courageous enough to pull off something like that?

if anything even close to that is going on, then every one of them is fully-documented toast.

Including Ginny, Clarence, and their friends

Whatever Mark's motives he was the hub of a hub and spoke conspiracy or several and was in on everything. He attended meetings with congress people and senators and knows everybody who requested a pardon over J6 and why. Jack doesn't need him for Trump but will get him as a bonus, I think his true value is in busting congress people and government officials who were party to a conspiracy. First Trump, I think Jack wanted him on the MAL docs first, but Cannon has other ideas, so go for J6 with just Trump charged and add on indictments in Florida where there will be a delay anyway. DC and this judge are Jack's best bet to nail Trump before the election and even jail him pending trial if he fucks up, and he already has.

While I would not call his employer an intelligent man, he is quite cunning in some ways. I think that he probably has a street-rat nose for moles, so for Meadows to play that level of game undetected by boss rodent is something I see as happening only in a Charlie Sheen script.
It’s possible, but unlikely imo.

Tho’ I admit that the thought of the Thomases getting toasted like two halves of an English muffin is provoking a physiological response.

I'm betting he gets jailed in DC before trial or during it, maybe we should make a thread and run a poll. Being in a DC jail cell killing cockroaches might speed up his trial a bit too with fewer delays. Donald will have a black female judge owning his ass and controlling him, that can't go over very well with a racist and misogamist like Trump. She also has a reputation for no shit and being a hard ass on J6 defendants and she has seen a few and continues to oversee the cases of the underlings. I think she wants the case resolved before the GOP primaries, much less the election, but I figure a trial ending in the spring, before the GOP convention. Donald won't be happy about her rulings and will find out his initial trial date on the 28th and 75 to 90 days is the norm for that, but this trial might be pushed back a bit. Jack only charged Donald and his case is built for speed, a torpedo aimed right at the target, with a real judge in a real court who will apply equality under the law.

Barr doesn't think Trump will end up in prison, I say he will, Garland will have ultimate control of Donald's ass once he's government property and the dept of prisons would need his permission for any special treatment. It will be easier and cheaper for the SS to guard Donald in a cell somewhere and the feds have a lot of cells and facilities to choose from, someone is working on it now. I'm sure Garland already made up his mind about what happens to Donald when he gets in the prison system. I'm also sure that once Donald is imprisoned that we won't hear much from him except what his visitors say. I think Trump rates a maximum-security facility because of the large domestic terrorist threat he represents.
So what about the adderal???

Trump campaign defends threatening social media posts as free speech
The Trump campaign responded on Saturday to that a recent social media post from former President Trump threatens witnesses in his criminal cases, arguing that it is protected speech.

“IF YOU GO AFTER ME, I’M COMING AFTER YOU!” Trump wrote on Truth Social on Friday.
The comments incited both criticism from the public and concerns from Justice Department (DOJ) prosecutors. Still, the campaign defended the post as free speech.

“The Truth post cited is the definition of political speech, and was in response to the RINO, China-loving, dishonest special interest groups and Super PACs, like the ones funded by the Koch brothers and the Club for No Growth,” a campaign spokesperson said overnight Saturday.
The social media remark was mentioned in DOJ special counsel Jack Smith’s request for a strict protective order in his election fraud case late Friday, arguing that Trump could disclose information to the public that is important to the case.

“Such a restriction is particularly important in this case because the defendant has previously issued public statements on social media regarding witnesses, judges, attorneys, and others associated with legal matters pending against him,” prosecutors wrote in the filing.
“If the defendant were to begin issuing public posts using details — or, for example, grand jury transcripts — obtained in discovery here, it could have a harmful chilling effect on witnesses or adversely affect the fair administration of justice in this case,” they added.

If a judge agrees, the order would prevent Trump and his legal team from sharing most public details about what evidence is given to the defense in the discovery portion of the case. New York prosecutors asked for a similar order in April in the criminal case related to allegations that he falsified business documents and made a hush money payment to an adult film actress.

His social media post also raised concerns that it could be considered witness intimidation, including by former White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham, who served under the former president.

“I think it’s chilling,” Grisham said Friday in an interview on CNN, referring to the post. “Legally it doesn’t seem like it’s very smart, but how is that not intimidation? What other people are going to take a message from that?”

Trump was arraigned Thursday on four federal charges alleging that he attempted to overturn the results of the 2020 election.
He faces a second federal case based in Florida, alleging that he mishandled classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago club after leaving the White House.

It looks like Donald might get locked up in a DC jail, his first meeting with the judge will not go well IMO, he thinks he's too important to jail and she would never dare to jail him, because he is so fucking special, NOT! She has total control over his ass at this point and every right to lock him up pending trial and there is nothing the republicans can (or really want) to do about it other than make noise for the base. He already tried to get Mike Pence hung and Jack could make a Helluva case for jailing him at this point, maybe even request a psychiatric examination while he's incarcerated.

It is not starting out good for Donald in his DC indictments just two days into his court custody, the DOJ might be reluctant to jail Trump. However, the judge might be a different matter and it is her court order he is violating, and these matters might be out of Jack's control. Donald is going to have to stand before her and will have to explain himself in court. A black woman will rebuke and lecture him from the bench in front of a room full of people, I wonder how he will take it? Will he talk back and will she sentence him to a few days in jail to give him a taste of what is to come if he doesn't STFU? Contempt of court is in Donald's future I figure and perhaps a DC jail cell.

Just 24 hours after being told by judge not to threaten witnesses, Trump appears to violate order

65,387 views Aug 5, 2023 #TeamJustice
On Thursday, Donald Trump was arraigned on his third criminal indictment. At his court hearing, the magistrate judge ordered him not to "influence a juror . . .threaten a witness . . . retaliate against anyone . . . or obstruct the administration of justice." Yet, just 24 hours later, Donald Trump posted, "IF YOU GO AFTER ME, I'M COMING AFTER YOU!" This threat seems to violate the conditions of release set by the court. Indeed, Special Counsel Jack Smith just filed a motion seeking a protective order and informing the court of Trump's dangerous, threatening post.

What happens when a defendant who is on release pending trial violates a condition of release? The judge will typically issue a Show Cause Order. This video discusses the ins and outs of Show Cause Orders, and what the future may hold for Donald Trump if he continues to violate his conditions of release.

If someone gets attacked or hurt because of Trump it could change his situation considerably, if he continues to incite his fans with lies in order to threaten witnesses. Donald is facing a new reality in DC the DOJ might be reluctant to jail him, but the judge might not be, even when threatened with impeachment by Kevin's house. Donald isn't good at adapting, and he had better learn how soon or he might end up in jail.
