Former President Donald Trump on Saturday lashed out at Mike Pence, his former vice president and GOP presidential primary opponent, calling him “delusional” and “not a very good person.”
“WOW, it’s finally happened! Liddle’ Mike Pence, a man who was about to be ousted as Governor Indiana until I came along and made him V.P., has gone to the Dark Side,” Trump said in a Truth Social post.
“I never told a newly emboldened (not based on his 2% poll numbers!) Pence to put me above the Constitution, or that Mike was ‘too honest,’” Trump added. “He’s delusional, and now he wants to show he’s a tough guy.”
Sounds like a violation of his terms of release.

Pence is a prime witness against Trump, and he is publicly threatening him. I can't see this going well for Donald even if Jack says nothing, Donald is pushing the boundaries fast and might be in for a nasty surprise from a very nasty judge.
I figure if she jails Trump Kevin's house might vote to impeach her, but I doubt it would even pass his own house. It occurred to me that Pence could get Trump locked up by "baiting" him carefully in public. Trump would flip out and start threatening Pence publicly and since he is the prime witness against Trump in a DC trial... Pence could provide a service to the GOP and Mitch by clearing the field of Trump and muzzling him almost a year and a half before the election and well before the primaries begin. Donald fucks up all the time remember, so why should this time be any different? Indeed, if other republican candidates start attacking him and saying he will be in prison, Donald will have to respond in his usual way, and they will be rid of him. Donald will fuck himself, if he is setup to do it and this judge will put him in jail until trial if she has to, so bait Trump, piss him off, get him mouthing off and threatening people and she will put him in jail. First, I figure she is gonna tear a strip off him in court and give him more warnings than she would give to others before the hammer drops. She might jail him for a few days or a week to give him a taste and the taste might drive him nuts when he realizes this is how it will be until he dies.

Barr, who was appointed by Trump, responded “of course” when asked on CBS’s “Face the Nation” if he would be willing to appear as a witness in Trump’s trial over federal charges related to alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 election. He declined to answer whether he was interviewed by the special counsel in connection to the federal investigation.

Former Vice President Mike Pence has confirmed that he took notes on his conversations with former President Trump leading up to the Jan. 6 riot, as Trump repeatedly pressured him to reject the results of the 2020 election during the certification in Congress.
“From time to time, particularly at important moments, I had a practice of scribbling a note or two on my calendar, just to memorialize it and remember it,” Pence said in an interview with CBS’ “Face the Nation” that aired on Sunday.
“I generally didn’t make a practice of taking notes in meetings over the four-year period of time, but given the momentous events that were unfolding, I did take a few notes to remind myself of what had been said,” he added.
The four-count indictment brought against Trump on Tuesday over his efforts to remain in power after the 2020 election referenced Pence’s contemporaneous, and previously unreported, notes from the time.
The former vice president’s notes from a Jan. 4, 2021, meeting detailed various election fraud claims that Trump made, as he pushed Pence to send back or reject electoral votes during the Jan. 6 certification.
When Pence noted at the meeting that “even your own counsel is not saying I have that authority” to send the votes back to the states, Trump reportedly responded, “That’s okay, I prefer the other suggestion,” in which the former vice president would unilaterally reject the votes.

Mark might be able to lead Jack to congress, Mark knows where all the bodies are buried, and he doesn't want to go to jail. He has an EX DOJ-guy as a lawyer, the perfect guy to negotiate a deal for him and the more republican political heads he offers the sweeter the deal he will get, Jack doesn't need him to nail Trump, so his deal is for more than that. He will need to make a deal in Georgia too and Jack putting in a good word could make a world of difference for Mark there too. If he cuts a deal with the feds, he will have to spill the beans completely and tell them of any crimes by others he has knowledge of.

More than half of Americans believe that former President Trump attempted to remain in office illegally, according to a new poll.
The new CBS News poll found that 51 percent of Americans think that Trump tried to stay in office beyond his term through “illegal and unconstitutional” means. Twenty-nine percent said he tried to stay in office using legal means and 20 percent said the former president did not attempt to stay in office.
The poll was conducted after Trump was indicted on four federal charges related to his alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election.
Fifty-four percent of respondents said that if Trump tried to overturn the election, they would consider it as undermining democracy. Seventeen percent said they would consider it as upholding democracy and 28 percent responded with neither.
Most Americans — about 59 percent — said that the investigations into Trump and the indictments against him are efforts to stop his 2024 presidential campaign. Fifty-seven percent said that they were to uphold the rule of law and 52 percent said they were to defend democracy.
More than a third of Americans said the investigations and indictments were personal, with 56 percent of Republicans saying that they were an attack on people like them, a familiar phrase Trump has echoed at his rallies. When polled among MAGA and non-MAGA Republicans, 77 percent of MAGA Republicans said the investigations and indictments were an attack on them compared to 42 percent of non-MAGA Republicans.
Republicans were also more likely than Democrats to say the investigations and indictments are an effort to stop Trump’s 2024 campaign, with 86 percent of Republicans sayings so and just 31 percent of Democrats. On the other hand, Democrats were more likely to say that the investigations and indictments are upholding the rule of law and defending democracy.
The CBS News/YouGov poll was conducted among 2,145 U.S. adults interviewed between August 2 to 4 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 2.9 percentage points.

This is a pathetic and transparent attempt to orchestrate a change of venue - trying to have his criminal trial moved out of DC. This tactic won't work, as a defendant can not insult his way into a change of venue.
