Fun fact: Korea can barely get a weather satellite into low earth orbit. In order to do an even remotely decent EMP strike, you have to have a fully functional warhead of about 20 to 25 megatons capacity able to reach high earth orbit.
The most powerful bomb North Korea has ever tested rated at about 7 kilotons. That equates to .007 megatons.
Doing the math, they would need a bomb 3,750 times more powerful than the most powerful bomb they've ever built to make it work...which they just MIGHT be able to make 100 years from now at their current rate of advancement.
Then of course there's the problem of not having the rocket to take it anywhere near high earth orbit.
But do panic more about things you know nothing about because you shove your nose so far up Fox News' ass you don't know where they leave off and you begin.

If they were, Trump would be toast. On one hand, it takes a special sort of conman to keep the support of those he is conning to the bitter end. On the other hand, these people are either really dumb or motivated by something really, really dark. If your population contains enough of these types, a "leader" will arise that will take advantage of them. Maybe Trump will be the innoculation we need to stave off something worse.
Maybe not.

What Blows my mind is let's build a better mIlitary, WTF, How about building some dam bridges We all know what needs to be done, But yet we continue to take over this take over that, It's astonishing to me that we no we are ruining the Planet but yet continue to fight,kill,use natural resources, and continue to make no good out of this Planet.
It baffles me is how Primitive we are, It's a ZOO. if there are intelligents out there they more than likely visit us just like we go to the zoo.
We have so much technology for free energy, but continue to use up what little natural resources we have left. Please don't ask me what free energy we have because what we do have is hidden and what isn't hidden we will never see used.
Power and trying to tell people how to live isn't going to make us any better, Dismantle our weapons of mass destruction and lets try and Make the World a Better Place see how that works for a decade or so and see how much better we all can live.
MONEY IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL.......

And that is a very good point that many people miss.
If we went to renewables sooner, we save those resources. Thing about renewables is they take time to work, and don't work on demand more times than not.
What the tycoons want to do is sell every resource they have on earth to maximize their profits. They don't care that it will result in the deaths of billions down the road because they'll be dead by then.
What's more, down the road should the situation arise where we need quick, instant, on demand power in huge amounts, we'll be doomed because we'll not have any left.
Using what we have now vs. using renewables as much as possible and conserving what we have left for as long as possible is, quite literally, suicide.
But again, the old farts don't care. They'll all be dead when it comes time to pay the price for it all.
