Two cops got shot in Ferguson last night

Yup Rochester is another white upper middle class stronghold , i buy all my hifi equipment at a shop in Rochester .

I would prefer to stay at our home outside Frankenmuth yr round , its 2,000 sq ft less than this home & was our full time home before my father left us this big ass place , i never feel truly at home here , since it was my dad's i cant sell it & my wife loves it cause she can get around the house on her lil scooter better than the other house .

If it were up to me we'd live at the country place forever , i get fuked with alot less up there & dont stick out cause there alot of bikers that ride the area .

I could grow 100 plants outdoors up there & nobody would say a word , were going back up in April for 6 months then we'll come back to the city in October .

Frankenmuth is such a nice place. I really don't blame you.

My nephew in Traverse City grows outdoor but only fast finishers, the season is too short for him to grow any landrace.

I play golf and Oakland Hills was always a dream for a middle class kid like me growing up. It's the holy grail of golf in MI.

i CAN SEE THEIR PERSPECTIVE TO A POINT BUT THEY JUST SOUND A BIT OVER ZEALOUS TO PUT IT LIGHTLY. sO EVERYONE YOU HANG OUT WITH IS YOUR AGE AND HAS RETIRED FROM THAT LIFE OR DO YOU HAVE FAMILY THAT STILL PARTAKES WITH THE NEWER GENERATION? Opps sorry about the caps.

Nope my older brother went Nomad which is basically retired from the club about 15 yrs ago & ive never been in a stupid motorcycle gang in my life , he hates it when i call it a gang :)

Shit we really dont have any real friends anymore since my wifes illness went into overdrive & started eating her muscles , seeing her that ill reminds them of their own mortality so they make excuses to stay away , we have one Mexican couple that still comes around alot & thats it aside from my sons godfather who's black & damm near lives with us .

We do throw loud parties several times a yr for family & our 3 friends but thats about it .

These suburb cops are a fukin nightmare .

past needs to be left in the past. what is going on needs to be exposed. Now is the time with all this bullshit going on now. Use the press like they use it on us to tell us what they want us to hear. the internet is our free press. need to set up a small camera when you drive and cameras at your house. you gotta prove to people whats going on. I dont doubt you for a second but you know how it is. people need to see it then they freak out about whats going on.

leaves in your garbage can. even if it's only a handful they could tell a judge that you would need x>100 plants to produce that many.

you've given up your rights and that is not a good thing.

You make too many assumptions. I'm in Colorado where it's legal- and they've already seen my six footers.

The house in Bloomfield hills has a camera system in place but all it does is monitor all 4 entrances to the home & display the video on 4 seperate monitors in the library , its 80's tech & very outdated , once were inside the property & the gate is closed we set the dogs loose for protection .

Our middle son got the family business given to him this year so to even things out we may end up giving this place to our youngest son & let him handle having the security system updated .

Posting vids isnt a bad idea , my wife records every interaction we have with police on her phone incase shit goes terribly wrong , i might have her start saving them & having our kids put em up on their facebook page , thats a damm good tip .

...In which case I have a VERY strong affirmative defense in that they were given the opportunity to talk to my lawyer IN PERSON about my activities in detail, and chose not to.

Frankly, your own paranoia is going to land your fool ass in jail if you maintain this attitude towards the police.

You need to remember that they're just trying to do their job and keep the peace.

I presented myself as the sort of citizen they want to keep the peace FOR, not a thug they need to remove FROM a peaceable community.

Do you understand the difference?

My paranoia is well justified..I've had the police turn on me after calling them for assistance, only because the people i called about were a couple 20 something cute girls who decided to park on my lawn to go to a neighbors yard sale. Once the police saw who owned the vehicle..one started chatting them up while the other turned on me saying i could be arrested for grand theft auto and kidnapping. When I had my chopper i was pulled over and harassed constantly for nothing. You start getting bitter towards them when they waste your time and treat you like shit when you've done nothing wrong. I've been threatened with arrest for working on my own vehicles on my own property - 220' off the road with one neighbor who does the same thing. "Good cops" who turn a blind eye to what their "brothers" do, aren't good cops..

Those are some terrible circumstances but hating all cops for those reasons it just as bad as being a racist because a black person beat u. Its not right to hate a whole group of people because of the actions of some. Even because of the actions of many.If there's one good one that one good one does not deserve to die A kind of the actions of his brothers

Cops by and large are not very nice. Some might be okay, very few, but almost all rationalize their behavior and use power over others to compensate for inadequacies in their own life. Very few demonstrate any real courage.

Their obedience to a paycheck over decent human behavior serves as a great illustration to my point.

I completly agree most cops are pieces of shit

Some are capable of coming to their senses and behaving decently to other people, but most unfortunately don't quit their jobs and continue to be part of something that is built on lies. To the cops that read this post, hello. Please have the courage to stop hurting people that have never hurt you. You know that putting people in jail and stealing their houses over a plant is pretty chickenshit.

In Russia it is very common for people to drive with dash cameras. So common in fact that scientists have used the various videos to study some astronomical events that have happened in Russia.

Its been on youtube for many years. They don't give a fuck.

How long do you think people are gonna just sit idle and film their own rapes until a new course of action is taken? Im baffled its gone on this long.

But then again (flexes super awesome internet muscles) they've never fucked with me.

If he was black it would work!

I have family that works law enforcement.

"The system isn't perfect"
"I'm just doing my job"
"Its about me and my family, not theirs."

Flat out, that's their excuse. These are family members I knew well before and after they become leos, and they all change and continue to change the farther up they rank.

Simply put, they give a shit less every year about what they are doing, so long as they keep getting the promotions and the raise. Take a simpe pot bust, couple grams in a cup holder of a speeder. Guess what? That takes 2-4 hours to process that arrest, so half their day is fucking around with one little stoner. They love it, its easy, and they get paid well to do this.

Yup its exclusive & thats one reason i have so much trouble here , its like putting a pig in a Porsche.: ) i stick out like a sore toe .

My next door neighbor is a neurosurgeon & most everybody wears suits & ties , i wear old blue jeans & tank tops or flannel shirts , they have tea parties & we have keg parties & loud harleys .

I hate most my neighbors , they think cause they have money their better than everybody else , they dont like me much either , the only reason we stay here & dont sell the place is it was my fathers home before he died & its full of his stuff , we have a much smaller home outside Frankenmuth that i prefer , my wife likes it here so this is where we spend half the year .

I think Grand Rapids has became the wealthiest city in Michigan , its night & day from the detroit area which im only 15 minutes away from .

Agreed, money doesn't buy integrity.

Off topic, and just wondering...Do you ride an old school Panhead?

I used to ride an Indian, before long ago sports injured hips finally protested too much. It was one of the last big bikes I had. Not a real Indian, a 100 C.C. 2003, had the motor done up too. Spent lots of money to make it as fast as a Japanese 750...probably not the smartest move I ever made, but it was fun for awhile.

You got it right i do ride a Panhead , my nickname in real life has been Panhead for yrs , my father bought the bike new & sold it to me when he got his 1st new Shovelhead & ive had it since , i bought his Shovelhead Superglide from him as well & turned it into a stroker , i cant even start it anymore , its got too much compression for me to kick over , its getting where i can barely kick the Pan over as well so its gonna go to my son this yr or next yr & i'll ride my wifes Fatboy , its a very comfortable bike & sits low .

I collect HD's on a small scale , ive also got a Fatboy ( Wifes bike ) a Road King , the Shovelhead stroker , an old Iron Head Sportster , an HD Buell Blast ( Wifes lil bike ) & a HD Buell Lightning that will eat most crotch rockets for lunch , the bike has so much torque the rear tire has to be glued to the rim & bolted in place or the tire will break loose from the rim , HD's & Mcintosh hifi are 2 hobbies i shared with my father & have turned my sons onto where they both ride & collect Mc hifi .

Me & my son are rebuilding an old Knucklehead right now as a family project but we've got a long way to go putting it back period proper without using aftermarket shit , im gonna try hard to acquire a decent running Flathead before i kick off so the collection will represent every modern era of HD & my sons will have the bikes like i have my dads bikes & his home .

Ive owned tons of different bikes over the yrs from a Kaw kz to an Indian Scout , even a Huskavarna for a few yrs , that bike could climb trees it had so much torque , in the end i allways end up selling everything else & keeping the HD's , i never intended to be a bike collector it jist kinda ended up that way .

My eldest son used to call me "Old Man Pan" before he lost his life in Iraq because of my love for that bike , he logged alot of miles riding with the wife & me for the few short yrs we had him & he wanted the old pan so bad , its about 90% original, that old pan is our families most cherished posession even more than the expensive home my pop's left us , its got a lot of memories behind it thats fer shure , thanks for asking about the bike it made me remember my father & son & thats allways a good thing .
