id like to take pain meds away from a sick mother of a judge and say there u go you fuckin fuck, how the fuck do you like that
This is very true but the fact of the matter is that right now P2Psales are not allowed. If you do not grow your own then the only one that can legally get you your meds for compensation is your ASSIGNED caregiver. We can always put another initiative on the ballot if we want dispensaries.
With possession still being legal for patients and caregivers, it will be hard to prove any sale has taken place...unless you sell to a cop or snitch....or do it on camera. It's only illegal if you get caught. This is very true but the fact of the matter is that right now P2Psales are not allowed. that part of the law alone should disqualify the opinion. judges are just allowed to rule whatever they want now? even when in DIRECT opposition to the text.Sec. 4. (a) A qualifying patient who has been issued and possesses a registry identification card shall not be subject to arrest, prosecution, or penalty in any manner, or denied any right or privilege, including but not limited to civil penalty or disciplinary action by a business or occupational or professional licensing board or bureau, for the medical use of marihuana in accordance with this act, provided that the qualifying patient possesses an amount of marihuana that does not exceed 2.5 ounces of usable marihuana, and, if the qualifying patient has not specified that a primary caregiver will be allowed under state law to cultivate marihuana for the qualifying patient, 12 marihuana plants kept in an enclosed, locked facility. Any incidental amount of seeds, stalks, and unusable roots shall also be allowed under state law and shall not be included in this amount.
this portion of the law absolutely allows for caregiver to have the same rights and protections as patients. also the reciprocity clause. what weight do other laws carry in these arenas?(b) A primary caregiver who has been issued and possesses a registry identification card shall not be subject to arrest, prosecution, or penalty in any manner, or denied any right or privilege, including but not limited to civil penalty or disciplinary action by a business or occupational or professional licensing board or bureau, for assisting a qualifying patient to whom he or she is connected through the department's registration process with the medical use of marihuana in accordance with this act, provided that the primary caregiver possesses an amount of marihuana that does not exceed:
(1) 2.5 ounces of usable marihuana for each qualifying patient to whom he or she is connected through the department's registration process; and
(2) for each registered qualifying patient who has specified that the primary caregiver will be allowed under state law to cultivate marihuana for the qualifying patient, 12 marihuana plants kept in an enclosed, locked facility; and
the bomb. as long as the disp owner and employees are registered caregiver's, ANY registered patient may obtain meds, through donation for recompense, from ANY registered caregiver.(e) A registered primary caregiver may receive compensation for costs associated with assisting a registered qualifying patient in the medical use of marihuana. Any such compensation shall not constitute the sale of controlled substances.
I admire the drive and fortitude, but you can show up with million people... sad fact as that 995,000 will be the idiots that are making our laws diminish. The people took a foot when they got an inch in 2008, now they are going to have to face the sad truth. That there are too many greedy, criminal, morons bending, breaking and stretching the current laws getting in trouble, that why would they EVER give you more then you have now, best case scenario that we can still get our cards renewal time. That's about as realistic as you can expect with the way the idiots in MI have handeled this, I didn't expect any less.how bout this-
any you guys know any mmj friendly attorneys or accountants? post their info.
that would be ba good start. or maybe spend two ro three hours doing some leg work on this. call a bunch of attorneys. at the least we have a couple of small class actions that should have already been filed. the cards. the fact they are denying patients well after the 15 day mark.
how many of you guys live wthin a half hour drive of say genesee, or oakland county? maybe we should designate a meeting spot and start a committee. i'm willing to bet some of us have some good conections, that they would be willing to share in person.
Nope, I don't like spending energy and money on losing battles. The odds are too great, and many are shooting themselves in the foot before you even start to support this cause.ii agree tony-
so you're in with helping me change this?
how did we ever keep all these wannabes from fuckin up the party before?
