NUTRAMIST Single Head Fog Module @ FUTUREGARDEN.COM
Hiya Loud!

I had been reading on another forum about a member there who did a lot of extensive testing with these misters. Unlike the ones that Fletch uses, these in particular apparently don't carry enough water in the fog to sustain a growing plant by themselves.

As far as cloning with them, the tiny mist apparently creates single cell root hairs that are easily destroyed when transplanted.

There is a pretty lengthy write up on them if. If you want, I could scrounge it up.

If you are using them, have you noticed this?

yes, i've been saying this all along.

when using any kind of fogger and thick roots, the rootzone is so dense its hard for the fog to get to all of the roots, making some if not all plants suffer.

as far as fogging cloners, i think they are great. i however, havent experienced damaging roots and experimenting fogging clones in rapidrooters or coco starter plugs....

sure why not post the link, or the info....all knowledge/experiments/opinions are always welcomed!

I am still waiting for someone to show the result of growing this way.

I have never seen a picture of a marijuana plant in a fogger system.

I spent a few hundred trying to get mine to work
but still had too much heat from the ceramic disc,
and I gave up after my drooping plants died.

I hope you can get it to work,
and show us some pics of budding plants.

you don't want your humidity levels to stay at 100% for too long. if a lot of dense heavy fog is reaching for plants quickly it would be a good idea to get a fan or air hose flowing in the diecection (more O2) in behind the fog and even things out with air pressure makes a difference. water contains only so much oxygen. although the tiny mist particles are small, it is still water none the less. don't keep it stagment for very long. i've seen some of these kats fuck up dwc grows very quickly with poor water movement and lack of oxygen. so i guess what i'm trying to say is.........get an aerator
