I think the issue is more with the sensor on the phone rather than functionality of the app... I could be wrong though. They can make estimates and factor them in, but without knowing the details of the light, i.e. how much blue, red etc, it's hard for them to predict what the actual value is. I think if you measure your LUX and it is 70k, your fine. If it's higher, 80-90k, I would either raise the lights or dim them.

Oh, cool. Thanks for that suggestion and guideline. I had read that phone apps were too inaccurate so I didn't bother to even download one. An old Google project has a free version as a science journal app for kids. I'll give it a go today as I try to dial this in!

Damn it's been a couple weeks, but here's a little bit of what's been happening since day 17.
We are now on day 40 with these girls. Had to move the blue haze to a different tent and remove the heater for space. The heater runs in between the tents at night only.

The Blueberry420 auto is still on it's shit.. hella yellow on the new growth, then it greens up within a few days.
Here's a few from day 17 til now of her.
Yellowing already coming back out. So not all strains can eat straight ocean forest/happy frog. Some need more. She has been heavy on the yellow, so I upped the nutes.. no change in the new growth (still yellow) but they find their nice green in the long run I guess. It's the only reason I haven't either given it away or just scrapped it. I will keep upping nutes every feed til I burn the tips a little.

Pulled her branches down to grow them away from the main stalk. Tried to be as uniform as I could without chopping any branches.

By this time I was raising the dimmer on the sf2000. I really think If left in the shade, it would grow in better.
Also by this time I was currently feeding 2ml per liter of Connoisseur 2 part grow nutes & 5ml cal mag/gallon.
Using tap water left out since the last watering. PPM on the tap is 202ppm as it is and 8.3 ph.
Feeding water temp 72F.
PH 6.4-6.8 no higher or lower.
The more of the PH perfect solution I use the more the ph drops. towards the lower 6's.
Still she has yellow fever.
at this time I decided to lollipop her. She's still in veg so I thought nothing of it.
Less branches sucking up the nutes in my eyes.



I cleaned up the inside, and decided to play around a little.. This was 11/2.
I kept 4 cuttings and sat them in some water for a little bit while I cleaned up and prepped the root riot cubes.



I poke holes in the bottom and sit them in the cells upside down to keep some space
in between the cubes and the water that I put in the bottom of the humidity dome tray.
Cubes are presoaked in plain tap water. No nutes - no ph adjust.
Just clonex gel on the cut tips (I also shave the bottom around the stem to beg for more roots.






Since I dug a hole in the bottom, I yank a small chunk out of one of the corners
to plug the hole the cutting was placed in to block any light from beaming down there.

Notice the yellowing isn't so bad since they were in the shadows...

I'll get back to those.

Now she's bushy again.. So I pulled her over and made her get out the car.

Also 11/10.. but after the stop & frisk.



Now Pistols are starting to show on day 34.

And more yellowing... heavy. Transitioned into bloom nutes after seeing pistils since
it's an auto. Used 8ml Grow B /8ml Grow B and 4ml of each Voodoo juice, Tarantula & Piranha + 3ml gal mag.

And flowering quickly begins 2 days later. Day 36.



Took her out again for some defoliation and top dressing with more ocean forest on 11/14.


The next day 11/15



Today - Day 41

Back to the clones from the blueberry420 auto.
11/10 is when I seen the roots really growin in on this 1.. and on in the back row.





Two went straight into 16oz cups.
The other 2 went into a 2 gal fabric pot... but folded in half. Not looking so happy.

Long story short.. here they are on 11/20.
In FFOF - Fed ph tap at 6.4 with 5ml calmag to the gallon.

Here goes a Pineapple express Auto from AMS seeds sprouting on day 8 of germination.

Here she is at week 1.


Week 2.


Week 3:
She was transplanted into a 5 gal fabric pot, but not completely filled. Left room for top dressing more FFOF later on.
Folded the sides down for ease of access & air flow.

Coming into week 4. I decided to open her up a little with some LST.



This is the week she decides to take off and stretch!


And yes... I shuffle & rotate my plants.

How to clone an auto and what would i need thanks

Cloned autos are hardly worth the investment are never as good as the mother.

Care to share your experience?

I know not to waste my time.....Autos have a life span. You making it need to root taking days if not a week minimum off its life.
