How will you manage the heat in a small tent with 15 plants and an adjust a wing?

Aluminum foil is too reflective with little dissipation. Much better to use white/black plastic (white facing inwards for obvious reasons). Foil or mirrors are a poor choice as you can focus reflection off the lights that can cause some serious damage to your plants - especially right after watering. Think of a magnifying glass on ants - pop pop pop - not good for plants. I am now using tents, but in the past have used a basic basement room painted flat white (mold and mildew resistant paint from Home Depot) and it worked out fairly well. In a new space that is a bit cooler so going with the tents (until summer, then I'm outside).

1,2x1,2 is not actually too small but temperature will be an issue ofc. I was recommending other setup but he has probably limited budget so it is very hard to say what is the best choice for him...

If he puts there HPS it will also needs good ventilation and it is not free of charge...

HPS is definately warmer, and should be vented out. Good ventilation is also required into the space (nice to have a carbon scrubber to keep dust, pet dander, and cooking smells out at this end), and good ventilation out of the space (again a carbon scrubber is a must) the filter on the intake will keep the more important one working longer. These are relatively cheap - check Amazon. I picked up a pair that came with Vivosun 4" inline fans - flip the carbon between batches (if necessary), and replace the carbon annually (can buy it at any aquarium store). If you live (and grow) in a cold environment, vent the filtered air back into the rest of the house - if it smells like pot, time to change the carbon.

For a basement grow, the main issue is excess humidity. Warm air coming into contact with cold walls = mold. Best to insulate and seal the room tighter than a submarine, then work on the circulation system. Air MUST be moving all the time if you are after high yields - good clean dry air in, and warm moist air out. Scrubbers on both intake and outtake fans. I use heaters in the winter but also humidify, in warmer seasons, I dehumidify - for $2 you can get a cheap humidity/temperature monitor - online or at a dollar-store. Once you have mold, you will lose an entire potential grow just to eradicate it. Best to go in over prepared. Good luck!

If your at day 80 your unfortunately not going to have a good harvest ...I recommend getting a vivosun 600 digital ballast and airvented hood for HPS and MH with both the bulbs. Then work on ventilation and dialing in your climate .. Grow four plants in five gallon grow bags to finish and start in solo cups... Go with reg fem seed and grow them for two month veg then switch your bulb to hps for flower. Make sure you know your veg time between your flower time 18 \6 and 12\12 . And note down your weeks you should have a decent harvest if you do your research and put in time to understand what your doing .

Thats great setup, but if you will be feeding them by water with 7,2pH you will get also into troubles... and any HPS wont help you

You obviously have to check your ph run off if your having issues and add the right nutes if you have a deficiency that's why I said do your research and take a bit of time understanding what the plants need to thrive and what you need to do as a Gardner to grow your plants to potential. You don't need 15 plants to pull off a hp harvest by the looks he won't get two ounces .
