Don't be a fool, just grow it as it wants to be grown then smoke the damned stuff.
A couple of members here have done some test with branches and food colouring etc, and yes, it changed the colours, and smoked like utter shite.
If you want purple buds, then go and buy a purple strain...

Save the Grape Juice and others such as molasses for soil growing .........Cold night temps might influence purple colors but juice lol nope

And to expand on my post. I'd much rather have a carton of grape juice and a jar of green weed than some shitty tasting purple weed and no grape juice to sip while i'm toking 
Grape juice is one of the best drinks ever. Just wish they retailed grape fanta in the UK, there are small sweet shops that import it from the US but they charge £1.50 for a 33cl can

And given that it's from concentrate, it shouldn't be costing me near £3 a liter :/ Americans often annoy me greatly, but i cannot wait till next august when i am no longer criminally inadmissible so that i can come and enjoy your food and whatnot. Life in the UK is utterly extortionate if not downright unaffordable. You guys don't understand the meaning of expensive living costs.

Yeah it's good stuff, and damn expensive here too. And trust me when I tell you there are some places here in the US with extraordinarily high living costs, like Seattle where I live. But yeah from what I understand UK food isn't the greatest, I got it great here, best seafood around. And tons of good Asian cuisine.

Living costs are absurd because of the governemnts attempts to claw back money to keep on top of their debt. Gas and electricity prices went up 20% overnight in january, and next month are going up another 9%, petrol is now at roughly £1.40 a liter.
As to food, you are mistaken, while a lot of folk just eat shit, if you are willing to spend, then the food available is simply outstanding. But when i say spend, i mean spend. To put it into perspective, on the low end of the scale, a single red bell pepper will cost me $1.53 US. for a good piece of sirloin/striploin, it would cost me $42/kilo. The quality of our produce is superb, but utterly unaffordable for 99% of the population.
