Veg for as long as you can indoors...then graduate them to your outdoor garden...you have to plan for the flowering time length to finish...g/l
What you mean plant for flowering time? So that they don't Reveg? And what if I put out seeds right when they sprout would it be worth it?Veg for as long as you can indoors...then graduate them to your outdoor garden...you have to plan for the flowering time length to finish...g/l
You will get a better yield if you veg for a month... For sure. You can grow straight into flower, but if you start with knee highs, so muxh the better. Why not trow a few outside at the same time you start your indoor. Then youll have SOME product finishing a month after you mkve your next wave out. Think sea of green, but with a green house instead of a flowering room. once you hit march 15 or so you will start to lose dark and by may 15 youll prolly wanna be depping. But yeah, do it bro. Go huge.aright for sure so you start from seed outside? Or you veg inside for 6 weeks then throw them outside?
Ummm. Blackbox?I think what Walter means is that the amount of time you veg indoors is limited by the amount time you have left in your winter before spring when the days start to become longer again.
Imagine flowering a 12 week plant at 12/12 and then in the last few weeks you start to change the lighting cycle back up to 18/6...
Your plant will be thinking wtf... and funny things will happen, and not in a good way
So if you have X amount of winter left and your plant takes X amount of time to flower and finish, then your plants must be outdoor and on their way to flowering before spring comes to give you enough time to finish properly.
Sorry if this post sounded really 'umm duh"... but I just wanted to make it clear in case you were unsure
Cheers Jimmy.
Two weeks. Read this. https://www.rollitup.org/marijuana-plant-problems/69404-biology-lesson.html as for fem or auto, i would say just get fast finishers, not necessrily autos, because as has been mentioned, you can perpetuate your crop easier with something you can clone.I'm not to worried about the time I have cuz it's plenty and I was thinking about autos but I wanna know if there is a real difference between throwing a auto seed out and throwing a fem seed out ya know? Like witch one will produce more? Cuz I know I have a few small seeds that are jus going into flower and there between 6-12 inches. Maybe a foot an a half. But I jus wanted to know if seedlings would get bigger cuz I know they have to mature then they flower and thanks jimmy I understood it before bit thanks for breaking it down and making it more clear lol
I think a more organised approach would be better than a 'Blackbox'Ummm. Blackbox?
what is this "throw a seed outside" supposed to mean?? If you throw a seed in the ground in "winter" it's going to grow very slow because of the shorter days...if you veg indoors and then put the plant outside it will immediately go to flowering with the shorter winter days...I have heard that an outside light can keep them in veg?
hey if you can find the link for what kind of light or similar you had can you message it to me please??I used an outdoor solar light from Home Depot to keep my girls from flowering.. Kept it on til they were almost 4 feet high. As soon as I shut it down they went to flower. The light had 3 flood lights and cost somewhere around $35.. Good Luck !!
I had it shining on 6 plants. They were all side by side in one row. The lights were positioned along the edge of my patio cover. It was approx. 8- 10 feet from the plant to the closest light.. Hope this helps you !!! Here's a link to the light.... http://www.homedepot.com/p/Hampton-Bay-Outdoor-Black-Spot-Solar-LED-Lights-3-Pack-79778/202352425?N=12l1Z12l0#.Ui5CXujn9tQReally?! How many plant was it able to disperse light to?
I actually really like SoCal88's method *claps* ^^I had it shining on 6 plants. They were all side by side in one row. The lights were positioned along the edge of my patio cover.
