peeps that setup that is fuckin tight! i think that you underestimate the heat created from 1000w lights....you will need at least one decent fan per run of 3 lights, probably one fan for every 2 lights, to efficiently cool them.
using the closed hood system like 303 will help alot for heat, but the lights will still raise the ambient grow room temps..hence the seperate air intake and carbon filter exaust......
having that fresh air intake also circulates air in the room better. also come summertime when the outside air is warming up, you can rig it up so that you just place the AC unit into the intake fans place, thus bringing pre-cooled fresh air into the room.
i believe the master controls sync the fans, dampers (which are essentially a flap that opens and closes slightly to adjust airflow thru the duct/opening), and co2 valve so that the exaust is not pulling the co2 out while it is open.
