I thought about starting a video collection on my progress. Wouldn't believe what i started with. My worm bin is rather large about 2`x 6` .Koi pond is 4 ft deep and 10x15 and first compost pile is done and working building a bigger one now for leaves and yard clippings. plan on getting rabbits as well ,thought about the chickens but got neighbors? It takes a lot of work and doesn't happen overnight. Here's a video that got me into collecting pallets :bigjoint:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFGaW2FdKB4&playnext=1&list=PLB4C385B36025B9AD&feature=results_main

Any chance of a pic tht shows the entire setup of your shelves and light? TY
Looks great filing in nicely!!

Unfortunately with the size of the room it's about impossible to get everything in one shot... you don't really see it but there's a big plastic sheet behind where i'm taking the pictures from and furniture on the other side of that so no way to back up any farther for pics. Hoping to build the other shelf this weekend and will have to do some rearranging so maybe i can make it work then...

Weather is really fucking with my temps... it's now cool enough that the a/c won't run at night, but not cold enough that the interior of the room doesn't get cold from the cooler air outside.... translation - went into the grow room at 7am this morning and it was 89 degrees because the a/c had not been running at all... kicked it on and room temps were in the low 80s very quickly. i expect once it's actually getting really cold every night that it won't be an issue but until then not sure what i'm gonna do :) last night's temps didn't seem to bug the plants too much

I know you know better than to leave your ballast on the floor! just busting your balls.:bigjoint:
Guess I'll have to plead ignorance on this one -- is there a particularly good reason for it not to be there other than potentially spilling stuff on it?? i water with it unplugged (mainly because i don't want to sit in the heat and blind myself ;) ) and not near where i'm watering :) is there a better reason other than that? wish i'd paid the extra and gotten the longer cabled fixture.

just the watering which you covered also heat i hang mine on ceiling already hot up there and just the fact that can trip over it or your feline friend decides to get frisky, was really just busting on your balls on it though:lol:

You also don't want it catching anything on fire.

I'll have to watch that. I want more pallets. I love in a small rural town though so don't know where to get them

just checked the plants, they are doing so good and smelling so funky... there IS a chunky AoS pheno. My monster branching apollo is super badass... the cheeses aren't really standing out yet but it all comes down to final product :) i think this apollo could be a keeper tho... already getting nice frost, super branchy/tons of budsites, very nute/stress tolerant (no issues)... she's going crazy in flower... please please please let the buds be the bomb :) and also on the chunky AoS ;) Gonna be excited the next month and a half til harvest non-stop. i so need some new bud... that AoS sample was a revelation

I'm pretty pleased with myself (pat on the back) that my void x grape apollo is ready to flower and still has green petioles! Almost all the veg plants still have true first leaves unless I took'em off. They are some happy campers... and i have topped the shit out of them to keep the size down pre-flower... tho the good thing about the shelves is you just put the stretchy ones on bottom :)

I really want some void just for the name sake. I need more growing space and supplies to breed it into something to call voidling.

The Apollo cut I have had had a good number of leaves go dried up brown. It's green again otherwise and I'll try cuttings next week. I have a 3-4 day trip leaving Saturday.

Strange... not sure which sex this one is but it's pretty compact looks like a female to me but never grown void so no idea... this one definitely has the querkle 'slow growth' trait, so for all i know querkle boys are short :) it looks like most of the ones i get that end up female though, so we'll just have to cross our fingers since it's my only one :) i'll see if i can take a cut for you before flower if you want but i think you don't have room so you can always get one later. hope you get a cut on that apollo real curious how it would be flowered out at this point -- the cut is almost 9 months old -- definitely the longest living mj plant i've had a part in ;) pretty sure this super branchy pheno is gonna be at least as potent as those cuts their first round... so it may have to have gotten a lot better with age for it to be worth keeping over the other one probably.

Never really had an issue on browning leaves on mine unless they got too dry, and that was generally never an issue on the apollos they always faired better than my other plants on almost any stress. this monster brancher i've got has that trait as well looks glorious like nothing can stop her from taking over the grow room... she wants to impose her will :) Can't wait to get some pics on these guys this weekend... i'm thinking there'll be more differences by then as well -- definitely that one AoS is chunking up i'm sure more are gonna follow... i keep feeding'em. :)

sheeet you been holding out ;) i'm always down for working some apollo seeds just let me know :) everything I have now will be in flower by jan 1, so definitely have openings after. Gonna be putting in Ace of Spades order tomorrow probably too some plushberry. Then I have to decide what to order next... so many choices... part of me says get cheesequake cuz i only have 2 females and i don't want to get to harvest, realize i really want a keeper of CQ but these just aren't it or i can do better, then not have beans for it... other part of me says there's a lot of shit i have not even grown and i'm growing CQ now... course i could say the same for AoS, but AoS beans are limited at the moment and whose to say the new AoS beans will be the same or something else might happen and it may not be a long time

Intriguing... i'll be checking it out :)

So I checked the girls as I knew they were close to needing watering... top row needed watering, bottom did not. I ended up giving the top row their first big girl nutes. We got something special in that Ace of Spades #6... she is getting frosty big time already and it's the chunkier of the AoS at this point. She'll be a fat 21 day girl, especially after I plumped her up with the big girl nutes. Everybody's getting frosty.

Did some stem rubs... the AoS #6 has a very light skunk mixed with a very light diesel smell... not much real strong smell on the buds I could tell at all... the CQ was straight up skunk mixed with funk.
