Very First Cupboard Grow, Lots of Pictures.

So this is officaially my first good grow, others have almost started, and then stopped, but today im finished everything on my cupboard/Mini Closet and im starting it up

this is of course, the cabnet i will be using.

The lighting, 4 flouro's 5000k 27 watts

the output fan, 80 cfm. probably less now with the carbon filter.

not a bigg fann of people going in my stuff.

lightt trap number 1 wiht carbon filter in, 80 cfm computer fan, hooked up to 9v battery (radio shack just isnt waht it used to be )

fann number 2, input with 78 cfm' but is a bit wider. again 9 v battery.

carbon filter under fan number one.

and last but definatly not least, the plant

has your carbon filter got holes in it for the air to get out of?

And why hook the fans up to batteries?
Do the Cellphone charger thing?

Can you move your lights up and down with the growth of the plant?

for some reason, cell phone charger just wasnt making the fans go fast enough, so i switched it up and used 9 v batteries, when i can find somthing higher, i will definatly switch up. yes the carbon filter has holes in it, its like, a mesh bagg. and for moving the lights, i cant, so im gonna make little platforms as it grows

also, i think batteries are a little more energy friendly, and a little more safe then doing the cell phone wiring i had set up.

just look for a plug something like a cell phone charger, but read the label on it. look for one that says 12v dc. one of those should work great for you.

yeah i couldnt find one, when i do, i'll deff use it, but for now batteries are working great.

Well the box has to have holes in it too, to let the air flow through the carbon and then out of the grow space.
otherwise the carbon filter is useless.

That would get expensive.

well good news, fixed it up and the fans are running on 2 phone chargers.

Using batteries = mistake

First... congrats on your first micro cab grow

Looks like you have a simple understanding of the basics... and that in itself is a great start.

As long as you learn from any mistakes and problems that you will encounter, and don't get discouraged, you will be growing like a pro before you know it

First thing you will need to fix is of course your battery problem.... go down to wall mart or radioshack and find a 12dc vold converter.... pretty much anything that plugs in the wall and converts your house's 110/120v AC to 12 DC... They should be easy to find, if not, just ask... simply tell them that you have an old toy that has a 12 volt rechargeable battery and would like a 12 volt charger.... and you will be able to power all your 12v fans with it.

Looking good, I seriously hope though that your are germing more than one bean. I would hate to see ur only plant turn out to be a male. That shit sucks, so avoid it by doing at least 5 beans.
You should have enough space to do a small sog or scrog style grow.

hindu kush, and im looking into more lights, hopefully some 100-200 watter cfl's

i only have one seed germing, but i have one plant that im working on rihgt now, im gonna germ 4 more, but i dont have enough room in the box to grow them for a month? i dont think?

whatsup with this on a few of my leafs? bugs? light? my best guess would be lightt..
