The last post was 2018 I would hope those lights are going for scrap metal price by now

I looked and couldn't even find it anymore. 50$ sounds right. I got a cheap bs light for 27$ last year it use to be 130$.
I use it for clones only cause it sux. ;-)

Are u still using Vipars? I have a couple 450 Watts (v 900) and one 260 watt (v600). I have been using the for about 5 months and so far they are working very well...
