Wakin Bacon Closet Grow

Went to check on the clones and the WW practically begged me to tie her down again. Sooo I did.

Still going good. WW is 15 inches tall and 26 inches wide. Going to be taking a little off the top this weekend and cloning the cuttings as well. That'll put her under 1 foot tall and probably a few inches shy of 3 feet wide by that time. I will be topping the shit out of her for a while, too. May trim some fan leaves off and trim some in half to open her up some. I have been tucking them away but they come right back out in no time. Her root ball is massive. Looks like one big fucking donut from the air stones going to town.

The NL is picking up the pace after boosting her up to the lights. She is tied down at the moment and appears to be responding well. Her roots also hit a great growth spurt. Her PH has been a little touchy lately, but I am on top of it. Hopefully she keeps responding well and explodes like the bitch next to her.

I tore down the bullshit bloom room I built in my closet before. Now, I am gonna use the entire closet for the bloom room. If I had it to do all over again I would've taken my ass to Home Depot or Lowe's and bought some 3/4 inch or 1 inch PVC pipe and fittings and outlined the closet with it and hung the film on that. Some 1 inch PVC pipe is sturdy enough to hang all my shit on. Live and learn, right? If I felt like wasting more money my ass would be there NOW buying it. Instead, I will put that money towards another ballast, bulb, and cool tube to cover the new square footage. So I will make do with part of my original bloom room set up for the time being.

I think I'll go play the lottery and see if I can win some funding.

Nice thick white roots appearing after 8 or 9 days on one of the clones. Hopefully the other will show later today.

Fuck yeah! Both cuttings I took 9 days ago have nice, thick, white roots coming through! Not bad for a first timer.

Finally took a little off the top of the WW. I might take a little off the bottom next weekend, but still not sure. NL is picking up the pace very nicely now. Taking some off the top of her next weekend for sure.

Roots on the two clones I took 12 days ago. They actually started showing on day 8 or 9. No humidity dome or heating mat, but I did mist a couple times a day. Temps stayed at about 76-80 and humidity at around 40-50%. These will be going into their permanent home tomorrow.

I just went and skimmed through my entire journal and I must say that I've come along way. I admit, I sounded like a damn corn ball at times. Totally fucked the bubblegummer up, but totally happy with the knowledge I've picked up along the way. Definitely got a lot more learning to do, but that's why I keep searching, reading, and learning. Knowledge itself isn't power, APPLIED knowledge is power. Anyways, I am done for now, damn wake n bake with trainwreck got me stoned off my ass! Shit PEACE

Cloning sure is addicting. I am looking around the yard thinking of different cloning experiments. Might have a yard full of hibiscuses next year.

Topped the shit out of the WW and threw her under the 400 watt MH. She'll stay like that until its time to switch to 12/12 (couple more weeks). During flower I will be running a 600 watt HPS and 400 watt MH. Throwing together my SCROG net today or tomorrow. Just need to decide on what height I wanna keep it. Also switching to a bigger res. The 5 gallon bucket is already filled with roots for the most part. I picked up like a 25 gallon tub and lid for flower.

NL is chugging right along now. I'll probably take a couple clones from her this week when I top her and start prepping her for flower.

Lots of changes coming up. Grow room is gonna get a overhauled.

Here is the NL. Not gonna flower her with the WW. Giving all the space to the WW and the SCROG net.



So here is what the NL looks like now. Gonna take a good clone from the NL in a few weeks to flower after the WW is done doing her thing. Still got some time. She is being put on standby. But she'll be ready when the time comes. The two plants on the right are WW clones that I just topped. Together they will get transplanted into a larger res soon and flowered right along side of their fat, bushy, sexy, mother here in the next week or so.

Forgot to take a picture of the after. I basically just trimmed up the under growth. All that bush at the bottom is cleared out. If it didn't look like it was gonna come close to the SCROG net in the next couple of weeks AND produce any amount of bud, I took it off. So the SCROG net is on at this point.

Can't wait to get this first grow over with! All is looking excellent so far. I wonder just how big this bitch is gonna get during flower!

Not sure whats up with the attachment, but that is one of the tops from the clones. I trimmed it up and thought it would be another good clone, but I just threw it away. Fuckin plant is amazing.

Cutting away anything not to the net tomorrow morning. Gonna wait 24 hours then start 12/12.

Some seeds I picked up. Cool little wood thing they come in. Hope they grow as well as they are delivered.


Got an 800 GPH pump to water the plants with. Mainly the WW for now cause of the big res and scrog net being on, but I can see how it makes things easier in a grow room. I can't wait to open the door one day and see some big ass buds and some of that frosty frost action going on.

Decided to split up my WW clones and feed one of them what GH 3 part says she should have. The ppms went up 1,100. They were both running at about 600-650 ppm for the last week, so I am curious to see what happens. The other clone will keep the current feeding schedule.

Still may trim a little more away later on. No biggie. I did feel bad cutting some of it away and forcing myself NOT to clone the damn thing. Anyways, 12/12 starts tomorrow!

I am digging the SCROG net. Can't wait to see some bud action! That little thang to the right is WW clone #1 that is at 1,100 ppms or so. It was droopy for like an hour after the transplant. Top fed it once, up the water level, and she is taking off again. Gonna pump her with some MOAB next topping off she gets. See how she responds.

I am already thinking about a more personalized and in depth recirculating grow set up. Something that is simple, but well thought out.

I think the screen will be full by Monday, or maybe even Sunday. It would easily consume the entire closet if I let it! Gonna throw out the other WW clone under flouros cause I just don't have the room. It's a shame too cause she is a monster just like her mom and sister. So that leaves me with WW, WW clone, and NL. I can only hope to come across other plants that grow like this WW in the future. When these ladies are half way done doing there thing in the bloom room I will decide what two strains to grow next. Decisions decisions! Got about 14 different strains to pick from so narrowing it down might take some time. Really don't wanna get rid of this clone!

This is the clone that's getting tossed.

Took this cut on Sep 4th and it's just shy of two feet in diameter. If I had a lot of room it would be cool to trellis one very early on and flower it that way.

When I was cutting the clone up for disposal I was screwing around with different pruning styles. I really like this one and will use it on a plant next go round.

Ladies are doing amazing! Topped off all the buckets and added an airstone to the WW clone bucket. Shit is looking and smelling lovely round here.

I wonder if anyone actually reads this shit. Thought about keeping my notes to just me here at the house and just shoot the shit on here. Maybe post a pic when something exciting happens. Oh well, see how shit goes.

Dropping the GROW out of the 3 part today. Drinking the shit out of some water thats for sure. I add back bout 5 gallons every 4-5 days. Shit is on auto pilot.
