Waking life lucidity

Lately I havent been feeling as Lucid as I used to. Maybe this was 10 years ago, maybe this was 20 years ago.. I remember when I was a child I could lay in my bed and have a fantastic scenario play out in my mind of me being some mega important, super human jedi things, getting all the girls I liked.. I couldn't wait to go to bed sometimes for that reason. I want motivation to map out things, to read everything despite the boringness of it, to learn more.. Everything.. Haha, but for some reason I've become lazy. To lazy to even think like I used to. I used to think it was drugs doing it to me, recently I haven't been doing much of any of them. The past few weeks don't count, because even before that I thought about this routinely. Whenever I smoke I suddenly gain the lucidity, yet socially, I turn retarded. Too lazy to write my ideas when I'm stoned that would help me in real life. Why?

Other people have to be experiencing this problem also.. How is it fixable? It has to be..

Our brains are like vinyl auto upholstery. Once the new-car stink has been cried out, our brains are so smooth and supple. But now they're stained, cracked, worn and a bit stiff in places. And they smell odd. It's age, amigo. cn

I know just where you're coming from, OP. Think of you brain as another muscle; the more work you put it through, the more it responds by gaining strength. Their is a direct correlation between one's level of education and their statistical susceptibility to developing Alzheimer's disease. The theory is that the more educated one is, the more likely they are to regularly work out their brain, and that the more a brain works, the less likely for it to develop the plaques & tangles and atrophy of an alzheimer's-ridden brain. Unfortunately, like working out the body, the only way to exercise the brain is to put it through the paces. At first it may seem boring, but get yourself a few brain teaser puzzle books or video games, or study something that challenges you. When I do this intensely I can get what I call a brain-cramp. It's feels similar to a muscle working to failure, and afterward you can almost feel all these new neural connections being made. It takes a while for the work to pay off, but if you combine this with adequate sleep and proper nutrition (or even if you don't combine them), a year from now you'll be amazed at your newly found mental acuity...

Take drugs, that's what I do. I've had that problem all my life. Only recently solved by accident, after not actually, technically, dying several times. I'm recovered and better.

Consult a qualified Clinical Neuroscientist. Don't let it get this bad. I gave up sociality on cannabis long ago. I'm better augmented now.

Grace Slick sang:

Lather was thirty years old today,
They took away all of his toys.
His mother sent newspaper clippings to him,
About his old friends who'd stopped being boys.
There was Harwitz E. Green, just turned thirty-three,
His leather chair waits at the bank.
And Sergeant Dow Jones, twenty-seven years old,
Commanding his very own tank.
But Lather still finds it a nice thing to do,
To lie about nude in the sand,
Drawing pictures of mountains that look like bumps,
And thrashing the air with his hands.

But wait, oh Lather's productive you know,
He produces the finest of sounds,
Putting drumsticks on either side of his nose,
Snorting the best licks in town,
But that's all over...

Lather was thirty years old today,
And Lather came foam from his tongue.
He looked at me eyes wide and plainly said,
Is it true that I'm no longer young?
And the children call him famous,
what the old men call insane,
And sometimes he's so nameless,
That he hardly knows which game to play...
Which words to say...
And I should have told him, "No, you're not old."
And I should have let him go on...smiling...baby-wide.

So were humans only meant to live to be 14? Thats terrible :( But some people keep up the image of themselves being resistant to brain aging.. I guess if someone is to become a professional at something though, theyll know the ins and outs no matter their age..

Thats a good thought, for the past few months Ive been eating a lot better. And if I dont get my eight hours... Oh boy lol
Exercise apparently has a lot to do with it too, but Im always too lazy.. The games and puzzles make sense too, Ive thought about getting luminosity because of the idea of whats it called? Neuro-plasticity?

Doer, so you dont smoke with people? Ive always thought of doing that. Even talking to my best frieds when Im stoned freaks me out for some reason. But when Im alone its perfect. Sometimes I make some ridiculous posts on here though
Also you made me turn on jefferson airplane, thank you! Which song is that?

...I guess that makes sense, the brain's profile / shape looks a lot like the caboose indentation in tire'd upholstery

Lol and demonic, whats funny about that is sometimes when I have to go somewhere right after I smoked, or my breath just smells bad, Im too lazy to brush my teeth again, so I just eat the tooth paste.. Ive done that for quite some time. I should probably stop doing that. But it made me laugh
