Want to transfer dirt clones to aeroponic system...please help

looking good man. one thing though you should be drying those buds in complete darkness and knock those fan leaves off before you hang em. light seriously diminishes thc during the drying process. you only want to expose them to light for a short period of time while you check them to make sure they are not molding like once a day. everything is looking good though that big cola you got hanging looks like a couple of mine Ill have to throw some pics up here later for ya. peace!
Howdy PF! Thanks for the drying advice. I am a newB after all, and I can use all the help I can get. I can't imagine that particular weed being any less potent, but I do remember reading somewhere that it is indeed better to dry in the dark. I;ll be working on a net dryer in the future, if I ever get ahead of the ball instead of behind it.:eyesmoke:
I finally got it all together, the flowering chamber is completed, drywalled inside, and the 430 HPS is hung. I went with an accordian style door because all of the pocket doors were so inept, and I needed to eliminate the space lost by a swing door. I've still got some tweaking to do, until it runs smoothly. I'll be in the flowering mode soon.
I see your lowly Lions are playing my beloved Bears this weekend, care to wager a Pepsi? We could even get together watch the game and compare colas. Uh huh! :joint:
I gotta go. Need sleep. I'll be posting more pics very soon..:peace:

looks good bro!! very solid growth.. keep it up!!
Howdy SS 420, Thanks for checking out my thread. You certainly have me in awe of your indoor farming expertise, with the pics you've been posting of your beautiful exotic girls in flower.:peace:
I'm finally getting a groove, my PH is good, and my nutes are working very well, even in the suggested dosage. I should have the new vegging aero unit done by tomorrow. I'll be taking another batch of aero clones, as well. I'm excited about where my grow is headed. Please stop by agaqin soon, I've got more pics and details I'll be posting soon.:joint:

Howdy PF, Yeah the Bears suck alright, 48-24 BEARS WIN! Looks like you owe me a Pepsi!
Anyhow, that Saturday morning wake and bake featuring your all-star lineup of Northern Lights:joint:, Pure Gold:joint:, Snow White:joint:. and that Paralyser hybrid:joint: really focused my inner programming, and after I finally came down out of the clouds I got real productive, at least for a guy with 5 seriously herniated discs. I finsihed the switch-a-roo, and have all of the aero clones now in veg, my soil-to-aero experiment is in the flowering chamber, and I just took my second batch of aero-clones.
My PH was good, and my nutes were just about perfect as well. I did discover that moving 3 BIG plants around in one tote sucks immensely, and I think I'll be using individual 5 gallon aero-buickets and a big res next time around. I broke off too many branches, most of them were lower ones, but it still was bad trip. I learned a lesson though, so hopefully I'll benefit from my hassle. At least I turned most of the broken branches into new clones.:leaf:
I decided I need to take break and relax. I've already stopped and smelled the flowers, I think I'm going to burn one of those super frosty Paralyser puffy buds and kick back and watch the pugs snore in unison.:eyesmoke: I've got some pics to share of my progress on my grow, and my evolving grow lab, very soon.:peace:

Howdy, I just wanted to share with everyone. I finally have 99% of my grow lab working efficiently. I have my 3 soil-to-hydro girls(drinking about 3-4 gallons a day), a dirt grown paralyser already in bud, and my present mother in my 12/12 flowering area. I put my four best aero-clones directly under the light in my 24 hours of light vegging area. I have my 2nd batch of aero-clones beneath a 4 ft fluoro, and a few odd-ball clones hanging out as well. I've put alot of hard work into my girls, but I've gotten a sense of accomplishment that I have felt in a long time.:-P
I have pictures that need to be sized and cropped before I can post them, but all in all, I'm really happy with the direction that my grow is going. Thanks to all who have helped me:clap: on my first indoor grow, as I couldn't have done it right without the help and knowledge of others!

looking good man. + rep for ya keep up the good work.
Howdy PF! Thanks for the encouragement. :peace:I've got things clicking along fairly smooth, even though I have three separate res's to check, PH and PPM, and top off. You wouldn't believe the soil-to-aero girls in bud and just how thirsty they are, still drinking 2-3 gallons of water a day. My PH is a little high in my cloner but thats probably because of the clonex or the thrive alive i added to the batch. I've enlisted the aid of allies in carrying all of the heavy water, when possible. I have some pics of my progress. Check out those roots on my first aero-clones in their 4th week of veg!:weed:

Howdy everyone, I picked up an inexpensive illuminated magnifier, an 8X strength for less than 10 bucks, so I was a little uncertain about its true value, but after using it to check out some bud growth, and to photograph some home harvested Pinny paralyser, I'm impressed! A very inexpensive tool, that comes in handy for parasite detection, but most of all to check out trichromes.

Howdy PF, I posted on your thread. Very cool. I'm interested enough to begin a new experiment.:bigjoint:I got all of my PH and PPM checked in all 3 res's. My PH is just a little high in my cloner, which I just added some PH down to when I topped it off. I'll be headed your way to see your set-up in person, so I can learn from what I see. Maybe tomorrow? I'll call first.:peace:

Howdy Everybody!
Man have I been busy with my girls!:weed:
I'm 22 days into the flowering cycle with my 3 soil to aero girls, and they are massive, 2 of them about 5 foot tall, and 1 of them about 4 foot tall. They are bigger around than I can reach! I spent about 2 hours Friday tying them up to keep them from falling over now that they are beginning to get heavy from budding. I can't believe the phenominal growth. They are drinking about 3-4 gallons of water every 2 days.
When I finished all of the tying and securing, my face and hair were so sticky from the plants that I felt like I fell asleep while eating pancakes!:-P
My mother plant went into the flowering room as well, and she is filling out nicely too, but she is in dirt.
My 1st ever personally done clones are almost 3 foot tall, and very vibrant. I showed them off to a few friends and nobody could believe they were just cuttings a little over a month ago.
I'm still working on a new aero-system using 5 gal buckets and a seperate resevoir, and should have it finished hopefully by next week. I'll post some pictures of it as soon as it is finished.
I've also got some pictures of my grow to post as soon as I get them sized and cropped later.
I know its early, but I want to extend a deep-felt thanks to Simpsonsampson420:clap: and Polishfalcon420:clap: from here on RIU, for all of their help answering my questions, and steering me in the right direction with my grow. Thanks to their much needed advice, my grow is going to be alot more productive.
I'm going to kick back and try some Romulian, a friend gave me and watch some pro football. Hopefully it will be out of this world.:bigjoint:
p.s. Check out SS420's new video of his beautiful girls he just posted. They are gorgeous!:weed:

Howdy Everybody, I just got the chance to finally post some pics. Sorry for my absence, but I've been really busy helping my son with his new music store he is in the process of opening, and it has DOMINATED my time. It's been alot of fun though too!:-P
So here are some pics of my soil to aero girls, which began the flowering process around 10-02-09, and I am in absolute awe. I never dreamed I too could have a green thumb. I got lucky, my Paralyser clones were top notch, and I had lots of good advice. I did work awfully hard trying to keep things running smoothly.
I harvested my Pearl that had been outdoors and then finished off inside too, so I'll post some pics of that too.

SS420, Yes, that sticky oozing resin feeling is kinda sweet, all over everything, and with my wifes pugs, if I get any dog hair stuck to me, I'll end up looking look like a big pug too. It does make me feel happy knowing I'll be having some thc drenched buds with my name on them.:bigjoint: Again, those girls of yours are amazing, and remember I said 57 ounces of yield way back when you first said you'd be harvesting.:peace:

Howdy SS 420, Thanks, I'm hoping the music store is a big success. We live in a tiny little mid-Michigan town, and the area certainly should benefit from a music store. My kids have been around music their whole life, and it is very cool that I'm getting a chance to help create something so cool. Both of my sons play guitar and bass, they took classes building guitars, and have worked at other music stores. My daughter has been taking guitar lessons for a few years and wants to start a band. So music is a big part of all of our lives. I've been playing since I was 12.
Here is a pic of the outdoor Pearl which got finished inside. It's hanging and drying, all trimmed up. I'm waiting to try it out until its right. Check out the funny single leaf alien courses on top, where it grew taller after I brought it in. The buds are thick, dense and SUPER SKUNKY:leaf:. They looked like fat little troll hands, chopped off and hanging up. Now that its been drying since Wednesday they have shrunken quite a bit, but still look very sweet. The last pic is a magnified one of a Pearl bud tip.
I've got a barter deal going where I'll be getting some AK-47, Romulan, and Berry mountain clones for my next vegging class. I'm so excited, who knew farming would be so much fun? Keep checking this thread, I'll keep posting results.
P.S. I pulled a pug hair out of the end of a joint I lit up the other day, and it was resin covered, if I had lit the other end I'd have smoked it! OH WELL!
