Smart move ..i used to take cell pics then i read some ones thread in club 600 after they lost there phone in the pub. The way i see it your less likely to lose your dig cam and if you do it shouldnt have nothing to identify you unless youve been taking mugshots with your crop. .Your phones going have ya wife or mother no. in it probaly writen just like that or even worse Work..
And you shouldnt take pics and then edit out face either as it aint edited in raw format..

Blackberry has their own network that they run all of their data through. It doesn't matter who your service provider is, att, verizon, etc. it all runs through Research in Motion's (the company that makes blackberry) main servers. There is one in Canada for the Americas and one in the UK that handles the rest of the world. They encrypt everything and it's supposed to be pretty un-hackable. A few months ago Saudia Arabia was going to ban blackberry service because the government couldn't see what people were sending over the blackberry messenger service. In the USA the govenment has good enough code breakers that can crack the encryption, but they aren't going to use those resources except for national security and terrorism stuff.

But, if you take a picture with your phone and post it here the geotagging could still be there and dr green dre and everybody else will be able to see it.

Never use a cell phone to take a picture of something that could be illegal. It seems to me that is common sense.

just thought i should warn everybody and judging by the views and replys i guess this was worth telling.. I know your only joking really but i thought about it as i said in the first post cause i didnt want anybody who's already got pic's up and emails as there name to busted but then what about those that might be helped. I told one guy in pm then he said he tried the email thing and it didnt work , so i did it a told him he's facebook pic for conformation ...he aint replyed So i just thought instead of having to do that over and over ,and i aint trying to prove anything i'd just do this thread ....just simply passing on good info

Didnt know any of that stuff about blackberry thanks even more sure im not getting one, UK po po are in with RIM in a big way.

Turn geo tagging off. Edit and compress the pics before you post them. There are a number of ways to protect yourselves and that's what we should be discussing. Not who outed who or silly nonsense like that.

Better way to do it is the following....

1. Go to "settings"
2. then "general"
3. "Location Services"
3. You will see "CAMERA"
4. At this point just toggle the switch to "OFF"

DONE!! Now you can upload all your bud porn you want without any risk!!

naw i am not to worried about somebody taking off with any of my stuff like i said the feds fly all the time but they are just snooping and being nosy and as for people... not to worried because i am so far in the mountains good luck, LOL, and my green houses are in my front yard. a few 100 foot greenhouses . i am pretty safe were i am everybody is doing the same thing and you dont see cops were i live ever ever.

http://regex.info/exif.cgi this is an online tool where you can check the exif from your pictures before you upload them everywhere. Upload there and it will check it for you. If the google map doesn't show on the page when you check it, you're safe Hope this helps!
