Water cooler is a must?

Hey guys, i've heard that nuts water shouldn't be more than 64F. Is a water cooler must or not? The water tank is in the growroom so water temperature reaches 72-74F. Is it bad for roots ? Or its not worth to spend this much money for the water cooler?

What would your water temperature be if it was outside the grow room?

I don't know. Like 40-50

Optimal water temp is 63-72. Maybe insulate your reservoir or place it directly on cooler floor? I would just roll with it and watch my res health closely.

I have a buddy who's water gets warmer like that. He had to throw some frozen water bottles in it every day to keep it from getting too warm. He also got some Gnat problems which I have never had in DWC.
