OP, great question, i think this is a subject that would be fascinating to thoroughly learn. Ive put some effort into it at times then get busy and go back to intuitive growing, but each time i study my intuition is enhanced by the knowledge i gained...

By far not an accomplished expert but from reading and learning and expirimenting (no ability to do a solid side by side here) i thing warm and humid provides most rapid growth... but dry and cool seems to enhance quality... so my better rounds ive run hot n humid and co2 till mid flower then backed down co 2, heat and humidity to finish cool and dry...

Thats based off my rudimentary understanding of the topic, id love to find a good book, even not directly on cannabis but on the science behind this topic in detail...

Huckster 79, YES " intuitive growing" I could not have put it better. That's where I am at in a nutshell. I generally follow the same parameters as as you have outlined. Recently I shelved my hid lamps and have entered into the LED zone. Time will tell for how long though. I understand it's NOT the same, all about give and take. I give myself a lower impact grow and it may take some of my weight but I am open for comprimise,,( the verdict is still out on how much compromise). This is why I feel that burn for more understanding. Like waking a sleeping giant! I loves my hid though!!
Btw what's OP stand for?

What i like about the way you and i see it, is i feel it blends art with science... it doesnt make them enemies, it makes them a dancing couple...

Oh shit... after rereading that sentence i beleive my intuition is serving me well at tge moment! Lol

Gunna miss my glue... i learned to grow on gg4... thats beautiful btw.

I didnt keep a mother, but cloned off clones well needless to say i stressed the hell out of the line more than once being i learned on her (still learning i hope but i mean breaking the ice and learning the basics), well last couple rounds shes just not same girl she once was... i let her go this round... she still smokes fine but sparse loose airy bud... drenched in trichs still but nothing structurewise to be proud of... other girls next to her are just fine so its not current environment... gunna miss her.

Sorry, off topic just had to share when i seen GG4 come up, that im a lil sad this is the first time since i started that the girl who took my virginity no longer grows in my room at all... :(
