Watered with low PH (bio canna)

So I know I messed up:?, I'm running bio canna which makes r.o water ph drop. I grow in soil, I did not check my nute mix or runoff water but can tell something is wrong because my plants are droopy. When I watered my ph was about 4.6, but just realized today after mixing the exact same thing up again and CHECKING this time. So my question is how do I fix it? Do I wait for my soil to dry then hit them with pure water and start over with nutes? They're also only a week into flowering.

Thanks,

Use ph'ed water from now on or flush.
Add water with slightly higher ph than usual
To even out the soil ph.
If u are on top of your game and ph ur water
And test runoff everytime this wont happen.
Dont be lazy.

You can always flush your soil with bone meal and that will bring its pH back in balance. You would want an 0-10-0. Liquid bone meal.

Thanks bro thought I would have to do that just needed someone else's word for it, and you're right it was a lazy persons fuck up lol

Where do people come up with this shit???? Flushing your plant with bonemeal will NOT change the soils pH. This guy has no idea what he is talking about.

For now just continue watering with properly balanced water and keep the feed on schedule. A bit before you go 12/12 give enough time to recover fully from a transplant. Be sure that the new soil is properly ph'ed.

Which soil or potting mix are you using, exactly? I've never used Bio-Canna, but it is an organic nutrient, correct?

When you grow in soil or potting mix, especially a sphagnum based product (Pro-Mix, Ocean Forest, Happy Frog, etc.) it is generally a good idea to add more dolomitic or garden lime to it (1-2 tablespoons per gallon). Especially if you are using RO water, because it lacks minerals which plants require. Spring, tap and well water will have some dissolved solid content, and generally this is from minerals such as calcium, magnesium and iron which plants require. It is highly recommended for people who use RO water to add in a Ca\Mg supplement.

Dolomitic limestone has calcium and magnesium (carbonates), and helps keep pH in check. While most potting mixes with sphagnum peat do come limed, they often do not have enough to sustain Cannabis long term. So long as there is adequate lime in the mix, you shouldn't have to use any pH Up in your fertigation solutions (even with the pH going in at 4.5-5.0).

Organic plant foods can be quite acidic in general, and it may take quite a bit of pH Up to get the solution to what people suppose is 'acceptable'. Really though, as long as you have a sound soil it will regulate its own pH along with the plant. Earth Juice, for example, is another organic plant food which is initially quite acidic but the feeding chart for soil specifically says it doesn't require pH adjustment. The pH of a healthy, well buffered soil will stabilize on it's own.

Yea it's "veganic" so basically nutes derived from plant matter. The rhiztonic is the ish for roots and the boost puts my plants to flower way faster than my old nutes. I use pro mix hp and I also do add cal/mag but my ph was still very low. I have some dolo lime sitting there might try it next run

Make sure that you don't put any more dolomite lime in the water than what is nessesary to balance the ph. Constant use of this type of lime with soil could cause a problem. I balance my res for my flood and drain table with dolomite lime and every once in a while some organic ash.

Cool thanks, may I ask what type of nutes u use for your flood & drain? I been thinking of running a small tray as an experiment.

I started only using a little bit of bio canna till my Rain water is 6.1 and batt guano as my base. The bio boost doesn’t change my PH so I use a full does of that

Worst thing you can do is make some extreme correction before you even see a problem. Just wait until you need to feed/water again, and make sure your nutes are the right PH...that's it. Don't flush it now and waterlog the soil or dump buffers into it.
