I got my 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 power bloom by Gaia coming in April 15th, would it b a bad idea to stop using advanced 3 part and top dress a few plants with that stuff? Or can u not switch nutrient regiment like that when there almost half way thru flower?

Here's a link to the diary for the grow I just harvested. You can see what I' running and how the plants look each week in there.

I have alternated between dry and bottled nutrients during an outdoor grow, no discernible issues, in fact I grew my biggest plants to date. Mind you, on my deck in 68l totes.

Kk thanks, u think I could do that? Switch maybe 3 out of the big 6 to Gaia green top dress organic ammendments?? It takes two watering to kick it in so I was thinking to wait til a do my last feed on my feed feed water routine, that way they will b good on nutrients til the 2-3rd watering know what I mean, like il feed feed and the last feed day rite after their drink il top dress it in, then go about business as usual?

I'm new to dry amendments so I'm not the best person to ask. Hopefully someone with more experience will answer that for you.

Outdoors I had 35 early mandalas one year in 3gal pots, 31 R2s in 7gal pots . 26 skunk freezeland they each had a half of a 3.8ft bale each lol them ones yielded a pound per 3 plants. Got bout 3oz a piece out the ones in 7gal pots and bout 50oz off the 30 sum early plants lol 90 plants altogether.. me n a buddy guerilla grew em.. never again man hahah close to 40 of em got stolen the day before we went to harvest like 8lb in top colas. We were walking in with two garbage bags each to pull out r 10 pounds n leave the bottoms to grow another 5 and I realized we got smoked... they cleaned us on spot 1 out of 3 they left 6 lil ones for us at the lower end where my trail cam was.. I thought it was cops at first cuz they took EVERYTHINg wit em, buckets and soil roots everything gone and I thought I seen a chopper landing gear marked into the ground in a clear cut near by, I never stuck around to see what rly went on

I just grow by myself now, if I can manage to do 15 well taken care of plants in each there own big ass spot in the ground, I’m happy .. I could do 100 again n.p yeah but u simply don’t have the time to properly take care of that size of crop individually I wouldn’t think.... lot more work growing in the bush than one would think lol it ain’t a game for fat boys

I’ve gotten a lil smarter over the years though since was first run in 07 lol, I’m 27 yrs old now and not a fan of breaking my back unnessisarily.. I chop the ground up in sum places only take few shovels out fill it and round up a mound for extra root space and I can haul anywhere from 3-6oz per plant like that, using bout 1/3-1/2 of a 3.8ft bale per plant that way

Bro, I'm a broken 50 year old infantry vet...we do what we gotta do lol.
Hence, I keep my plant count down.

LOL! I'm in my mid 40s and I'm perfectly happy with 4 plants at a time. In fact, I have 4 in veg now for my next indoor grow, and 6 started for the outdoor season, and I'm already getting anxiety thinking about how I'm going to have room for the outdoor plants in the house for the next 3-4 weeks.

I think I’m gonna downsize to 4-6 in my 5x5 after this run, I see what them 6 could do with another two weeks of veg and see that being the heavier setup after all.. I think 6 in 7gal fabrics could yield 26+oz easier than the 9 like I have rn (only added xtra 3 plants to help fill room out and save 2 weeks of veg time I don’t have rn) with a 6-7 week veg. I’l keep em short n wide and flower them @16-18” so they can finish 2.5-3 feet tall and 4-5 square feet around per plant. Save a lot of time going from solo cups @2 weeks to 2gals. @5 weeks old er whenever there close to rootbound do the final swap from 2s into the 7gals give them another 10-15 days and flip.. I think I could harvest 24-32oz every 2.5 months like that instead of close to 4 months..using my t5 strips to veg and usin the tent for transition/flower only..I wonder if 4 half pound plants scrog trellised like crazy would be even better than 6? Bigger the plant bigger the yield, there’s a line I don’t rly wanna cross in veg though. There’s a point where it gets harder to keep it healthy around the 50-60 day mark from seed. Doubt I will wanna veg any longer than that so 5-6 plants seems best to me

so woukd u say better results wit led over hps
Better quality of Bud for sure..I am still learning these lights, so my yield is definitely increasing over last run.
Hps definitely penetrated deeper, but I FEEL my quality is higher.

As well, running hps was tough in summer...I have enough invested, not installing ac too. These seem much easier to control environment...better environment better grows.
Peace.
