Ways to turn trichomes to amber ?

If he is trying to get them amber, they aren't late in flower. Otherwise he would wait the week.
All he asked is if there's a way to ripen them to amber besides time of time. I've read more than one UVB user say there is. Whether he's trying to shave a week or a month, you don't know. We don't even know why he's considering it. But, there is more than one report that UVB past mid flower accelerates ambering. If he's looking for tradeoffs (time vs. potency), that's something he may wish to look into.

What I am saying is...

If he is going from new clear trichomes to amber, there isn't any THC yet in the resin heads to even matter. The THC we are looking for is a product of a breakdown in other substances. If you don't give the time to make the THC, it doesn't matter how amber the trichomes are, there won't be anything to get you high.

This thing is more than 9 weeks into flowering and no amber trichomes, it is going to get real cold at the end of the week and I would like some amber before chop.
