There is some compost mixed in with soil. Maybe I will go now and put a layer of worm castings under the mulch. 65 PPM is low so if I mix with the organic fert (even 25-25-20) it should help I guess, yes? Will test PPM before watering...

I have been watering about 1 gallon every 3 days plus another half gallon here and there as needed. So I've been careful to always try to keep it pretty moist.

Top dress makes more sense than tea for what reason? Related to the scale (meaning not worth it for a small grow)? But I did do it quite a bit and seemed to have a good response from the plants. I'd think they like the added aerated water at least.

What are you smoking @osowhom how do you aerate soil as such? you mean you stuck a tube in the soil to send air in there??
yes exactly

Lol thats pretty hilarious!

Anyways thanks for all the advice guys. Today I went and lifted up the mulch and placed worm castings under the pots. I also added a couple handfuls of the 15-15-15 organic pellet fertilizer, then gave a good strong waterering. I expect these girls will be loooooving it. Castings also helped to even out the soil in spaces where it had somehow caved in on some sides!
