Some guy tried to sell me one of those 3D flat screens that were supposed to be all the rage a few years ago. He had a whole van full of them and even though I told him I wasn't interested he kept pressing me, he even said he'd sell me one for whatever cash I had on me.
Except all I had on me at the time was $20, he said he was selling them cheap but not that cheap.
I've since stopped going to that gas station. It used to be great but went to shit real fast and now all the tweakers and weirdo's hang out there.

Had a Biker chick come up and ask if I wanted to buy a leather jacket.
Complete with knife slashes.
Had a dude want to sell me well worn work boots.
While he still had them on.
He said he had recently bought them from someone else and if I wanted them I could have them for $70.
I shop at thrift stores from time to time. Sometimes a good deal can be found there.
But 2 things I won't buy used.

i tried to master naginata as part of my blackbelt progression, but couldn't get a handle on it, literally. the shaft is round, and i can't ever get the blade aligned properly, end up holding it with the edge up....so i switched to three section staff. only took me 27 bruises and 2 concussions to get good enough to pass

The iklwa was derived from the assegai by Shaka Zulu. Prior to him, apparently a lot of the fights between tribes was a demonstration with few fatalities. The assegai was a throwing spear, iklwa was a short thrusting/slashing weapon
