I put in a different light in my work area just outside my grow room. The plants are doing good. Just waiting for the growth to take off as they suck up the N from the Fish Emulsion.

How's this for a soil mix? I mixed it today for the next transplanting, which will be into 4 gal. pots.
2 c. ft. Potting Soil
1 c. ft. Perlite
8 qt. Vermiculite
1 cup Blood Meal
.5 cup Bone Meal
1 cup Dolomite Lime
.5 cup Epsom Salt
Once again, Thanks UB
I got Miracid to feed them today. Miracle-Gro re-named it"Azalea Camellia Rhododendron Plant Food" I guess the"acid" in Miracid made them change it. I've used it on shrubs before. So the lack of Fe was also a problem, huh. I knew the N was off.
I'll mix up some and give it to them.
On the Soil Mix, I already mixed what I had listed. I'll add 1 c.ft. Peat Moss, 1 more c.ft. Potting Soil, and 8oz. more Perlite. Does that sound better? It'll weaken the dolomite. Epsom Salt is already in there, so oops. Should I add .5 c blood meal and .25 c bone meal? I was thinking of the alfalfa meal you mention in the mix you make. Is it worth the $/work for such a small amount of soil.
I'll get another post up about my visit to the local (& only as far as I know) grow shop. It will be something you will shake your head about. Again Thx.

I would stay with the miracid till they get healthy before doing anthing else
I fed them with with Miracid last night (1 tsp/gal) and the overnight growth was very noticeable.
I'm having a hard time getting my soil analysis. I couldn't get anyone at the US Dept. of Ag. I'll try some-more today. I talked to a guy who does soil analysis for local farmers. (30 plus years exp.) I told him it was soil for indoor houseplants and vegetables. We talked about the analysis he does, but the simple test was $68. To get a true view of it he'd do 3 different ones for about $350. Nice guy, knew it wasn't worth that. So he did a calculation of my soil into tons added to an acre. He said my blood meal could be higher. The Epsom salt was too much, but he said to use water to flush it if I see an excess. So UB was spot on once again.
I'll get a Pic update tonight.

Thx for the quick drop for their info. I was about to run errands, and some printing, faxing, and mail were on the list. I called and they said they do out of state testing, but have no MT info to compare to. I told her it won't matter since I'm using the soil for indoor houseplants and veggies. She said 3 cups so I'm off to print the form and mail it. The guy I talked to said the local USDA guy is better about weed control, and pest mang. stuff. He was helpful and not even suggested spending that kind of $$. Thanks again UBCall these guys up. If they won't do it for you they can refer you to an extension service that will. If you're paying over $15 for a full analysis (test #2), you're getting ripped off. http://soiltesting.tamu.edu/
It doesn't say on this form that their services are limited to Texas residents. Just take your sample and ship about a cup via USPS to the address listed.
