What a waste

Dry, it's got to be dry and sterile. If you look up tutorials people use flour or other dry substances to help hold the pollen and keep dry for months on end. If you're growing outside and are waiting till next season this may not be the way. Might be easier to grow males and females and use the pollen from that batch.
I'm probably gonna try indoor, or take advantage of the season and try and fit another batch in the time gap, then pollinate a branch, then go hard next season :blsmoke:

These are like a month old pic , looks pretty similar to yours but I got a heap of female pre flowers at every node… I gaVe them there last feed of N yesterday as I’m expecting stretch and flower to kick in any day now . Atm they would be wellllll over 6 foot without all the bending

Males do produce THC, just not as abundant as females... You MIGHT be able to get some bubble hash out of it. But the pollen from the male flowers will make it taste like holy hell.

And the light regime isn't a full 12/12 yet but the flowers are blooming
Outdoors most plants will start flowering when the days get shorter than about 14.5 hours. This is because of the high far-red to red ratio at sunset.

You can use something like this: https://www.timeanddate.com/sun/australia/sydney

Look when the days get shorter than about 14.5 hours and you'll have a very close estimate of the onset of flowering.

IMO they will still need some N throughout or they will yellow.

Cut them down and put all the leaves in a crock pot with 3-4 lbs of butter and about an inch of water. cook on low overnight 12-18hrs. Strain into another container and set in fridge. Poke a hole in the hardened butter and drain the water. Bag up the butter and use for brownies. Keeps well in the freezer for a long time. That shit will get you fried.

you started that in october and it it got that big and barely started pollenating, where are you located?
South Africa
And yeah it only started producing notable preflowers by mid December and by then I was in denial, I was like, "Just wait a little you'll see those pretty hairs soon!" and then those balls pulled up about 2 weeks ago they really started pollinating fast I was surprised

If you don't plan to use the pollen right away consider storing in a small covered container in a freezer.
Yeah that part is done I've got nice pollen stowed away by now
I was just hesitant on chopping I was still tryna figure out if I can do anything at all
And I had read from a site about how the yellowing leaves at the bottom have some thc so I just started using them as a mix for my joints and it was good:eyesmoke:
Oh, and I've already germinated a new batch, took advice and germinated more regular seeds than I'll need just for probability's sake and I won't grow them as big as these but hopefully it'll be enough

Now this is something I'll definitely do lol I'll get to it
Thanks!

So a little question, considering I'm starting a new outdoor grow now, will the light schedule, which is about 13 and a half to 14hrs and getting less by the day, affect the growth rate or cause them to flower too soon and if so will I need to apply artificial light?
