If anyone has any idea what could be causing this please feel free to comment and post.
I had this problem when I used roots soil. It looks like the soil is hot. Have you been adding nutrients.

Yeah I heard to mix 50/50 FFOF with Light Warrior for seedlings. I'm thinking of getting some Mycoryzal, hey are pucks made from Peat? I have some clones and there is some green algae looking stuff growing on the jiffy pucks. Anyway I guess your right I just over did it. I also remember adding some undiluted worm juice from my compost bin. Is that stuff hot off get go?
The worm tea isn't hot, however if you are composting in the same bin the nutrients and salts from the compost are probably the issue.

I reuse the soil. I have bin a just for used soil, used as in like 1 grow/bloom cycle 100 days approximate. I usually let it sit for a bit before adding it to the worm bin, I add ground dried trims and roots to it. I just started the meals like 3 weeks ago the alfalfa I just got yesterday. I still would like some humic acid and some type of glacial dust in the mix. I'm going to look into the AACT. I have an airbrush compressor that I'm gonna rig for a brewer. I have a revised list for a 1.5 cu subsoil mix I just need to get a new container for that.
IMO re using the soil is never good. If you are having trouble with expenses switch to a coco or promix hp goes along ways for the price. When you re-use soil it can open up a can of worms. With all the additives in your soil either of these will give you great results.

I find it funny how all the plant's/clones are in the same soil and just one is not showing any symptoms. And just my luck it's a boyIMG_1270.jpg
It's all good I have 6 seeds germing, 3 poped and are in a very light soil. Less is more from now on.

Also I have some manure but am not sure how much to useIMG_0631.jpg I was thinking of feeding the worms straight manure no food scraps. I guess I'd need 2 bins then.

Good morning Fang,
So you're mainlining? I'm definitely giving that a try. Looks like you were off to a good start on that male. Perhaps the differences in metabolism between male and female plants had something to do with the male being OK while all others effected. Just a guess...

I always kept worms too. I was always very careful about food scraps because some stuff they just don't like and won't eat. Fat and protein just doesn't do it for them. The manure/compost should work...but isn't that stuff pre-composted and so ready to use? Seems feeding it to the worms is an unnecessary step. I always fed my worms corn meal...it's cheap and they love it.
Peace,
JD

Morning JD. I'm sad to say after purging the plants they are not recovering and getting worse, well the 2 that are in flower areIMG_1316.jpgIMG_1315.jpgI took 11 clones from this one in the green pot, thank God. The other plants are looking better but not those 2. I'm not sure what else to do.

I'm gonna try a concoction of 6.5 pH distilled water, Aloe and Kelp and do a foliar feed. Can you use liquid fish fert for foliar?

Also in the worm bin I only add coffee grounds, banana peals, and crushed egg shells. Sometimes if they go bad I'll add a bagel (oy vey).

Ya, they like that stuff. Also, I always used to keep worms in my pots while plants were growing. To enhance aeration and add a little worm poop while they crawled around. I'd still feed the cornmeal and plants always loved it.

Hey, on your plants...the only thing I could recommend at this point is an emergency transplant into milder soil. It will be a little trauma to them, but will have a better chance of survival. I've used a warm water bath to wash off roots before going into the new soil.

For a short while, when switching to hydro...I was vegging in dirt and then washing off roots before going into hydro. It wasn't the best technique, but I was a hydro newbie. Plants were set back maybe a week while they recovered and grew more roots. Just be gentle. Good luck whatever you do...

Yeah I went ahead and transplanted the worst one, did a 5 min bath with 73 F distilled water @ 6.5 pH. She was in flower so do I reveg her or bloom on? I once accidentally broke the top cola of a plant 2 weeks into flip. I went ahead and set her to clone and she stayed there for like 3-4 weeks and did no growing. Then started growing nice and fast. Isn't that monster cropping? Another seed popped and is in plain Vigoro organic with added rainwater with mosquito dunks. Spring starts tomorrow and I'm really thinking about vegging outside. We'll see what time allows me to learn.

I gradually accumulated those amends I messed up with adding bone and blood meal as top dressing. Had I added alil I might have gotten away with it.

Just for record let me state that I flushed with 6.5 pH distilled And runoff was 7.8 and did not change even when I gradually lowered ph to 4.0. That tells me if you get your ph off by far it gets pretty hard to change.

Hi Fang,
I'm not too familiar with "monster cropping" but it's basically growing out a revegged plant and taking advantage of the abundant branching that occurs...right?

On your transplanted plant...if it's the height you want it to be, just keep it in flower. It'll stall for awhile as it recovers but should take off eventually.

Your worms headed for the hills? They must have thought the soil was too hot too. lol
Peace,
JD
