What did I do wrong.. Taste wise

Ok fellow growers, I finished off a harvest of some afgani kush, after smoking it.. I noticed the taste was off, although it smells good and gives a nice buzz.. What happen to my flavor?

Help me understand why.

How did you dry and cure it?

I hung them in a dark place for about
5-6 days, out em in a jar and that was it.. Nice size buds but very dry

Can't explain the Taste but not a clean taste. However, I did put a little bit of Apple skin in it to moisturize the buds..

How long in jars? Did it get moist when you first put it in?
Sounds like you may have over dried it before putting into jars..

Need to cure it for at least 2 weeks.

Yep, that's what I believe I did wrong too. Dried them put

once it dries past 55%, the curing stops, rehydrating does not restart it

you might get lucky and its got just enough moisture in it to finish the cure, worth trying,
