For the most part, pot smokers are their own worst enemies. These grotesque Hippie Pride rallies do nothing but hurt their cause. This is just one example of the legalization movement over which they have control that hurts their cause. I don't understand why they would even want to be a part of a society that, for the most part, despises them. You cannot force yourselves into the mainstream. It just won't work! The more pot smokers try to force their beliefs on Straight Edgers, the more resistance and hate they will encounter. I have no problem with one's decision to be smoke pot. I don't agree with it, but I don't hate because of it. I hate what they do, but I don't hate them. In a perfect world, it shouldn't matter....

Uh, OK, that's where I absolutely draw the line, and it's nothing to do with gays; I couldn't care less who acts like that. It's the behavior itself. It's simply the "Pay attention to me, any attention, even negativity or revulsion" display; I don't care who does it. And isn't walking down a public street naked supposed to be indecent exposure, something for which people are arrested?
I remember full well what my last post stated, and I still stand by that as it was nothing more than a point. That said, behavior like this displayed in these photos does hurt the gays' cause when they're trying to be more accepted into the mainstream. Freaks will love it, but not the "normal" people by whom these same paraders wish for acceptance and understanding.
If you're going to portray yourself as a perverted freak, then of course you'll be seen and treated by others as such. Like... DUH!

Not all gay men act like this. Don't generalize them all into one group. ANYONE who acts like THAT, in my opinion, is retarded. But none of the gay men I know would subject themselves to that kind of ridiculous behavior.
i didn't check, but i bet it's sponsored by some of the same people sponsoring the NO on prop H8 movement. cutting their own throats, it seems. what else i am to think?

amazing that someone could think that these 2 subjects (and my comment) have any similarities at all! smoking pot, and smoking a cock, have absolutely "nothing" to do with each other. we don't have straight pride parades. but if we did, wouldn't you find it strange if the participants marched down the streets naked and dressed like fools?!?! and trying to make a comparison to pot smoking, that's beyond a stretch. if you want to have your shit packed in, by all means, go for it! but don't try and compare it to smoking weed. i think maybe that last dick in your ass pierced your brain, cause you ain't making no sense gaylord, lol!

The activities are different, but the situations are extremely similar.
Cannabis users and homosexuals conduct activities traditionally shunned by the mainstream.
Neither activity is inherently harmful and does not affect other people whatsoever.
They rally, march, and protest. We rally, march, and protest.
They have GLAAD. We have the MPP.
You fail to see the similarity between the figurative gay closet and our literal grow closet.
So other than the actual activities, how are the two movements completely dissimilar?

You guys read that study that gays only use half their brain? As in they dont have spatial reasoning or any verbal ability at all. They could answer the questions on the test in these categories but a brain scan during the tests showed only blue where as in the straight brain the areas were red. Regardless of the answers any gave this was the case every time. Where did they get the answers as some got the questions right?

Seems like generalizing to me. Maybe if you said "this is what a tiny fraction of gays want" it would have been accurate.
I don't think most gay people want parades like that.
Might as well say that christians want to kill doctors, if someone asks what christians want. Or, if someone asks what straight women want, you could say that they want to flash their tits at mardi gras.
