What if I dont fix my root bound

Most have posterior callouses on their glutes as a result of the net. And sadly received poor marks for playing well with others in school.

Just assume my ugly, old, unsettling mug is looking down at you as you participate. Knowing I look like I kill people one bone at a time. You would be nice in person I assure. I'm a flower carrying hippie here. Scare childeren to my horror in reality. LOL.

Act as if in public. You are.
Old am I also. And confused I am as well. I wasn’t meaning that at you, but to the op who said he was attacked by Mick Foster.

Would my plant at least flower?Or it will get completely stunt?
Transplanting just as the roots reach the edge of a container pushes vigorous growth and promotes healthy root development. In turn the roots get adequate oxygen and moisture thereby more effectively absorbing nutrients. Transplanting often affords the opportunity to innoculate the soil mix w/mycorrhizae fungi which also assists w/absorbtion. When given enough room for healthy development, roots go wider and deeper than most noobs realize; especially when in symbiosis w/myco. Hyphae can reach for miles in an ancient forest..pulling in nutrients and moisture from every corner of your container indoors.....So...
The short answer is yes you can get away with flowering a root bound plant but it will be a whole lot easier if you simply pot up. Plants that grow happy and healthy grow healthy happy buds. Go figure...

I wouldn't do what he suggested. It will stunt your auto.
As will most net lore and for profit indoctrinated sales brochures posing as scientific studies. LMAO.

My biggest laugh. People claiming superiority over natures eons of refinement. And it is in a bottle.

Best wishes to all. But realize you have been trained by a very profit focus.

I've grown autos and seen it for myself. They stunt very easily. At least the ones I've grown. There may be some genetics out there that don't have such issues.

If you transplant an auto properly it will keep moving without missing a beat just as a photo will. The trick is to transplant correctly. I guess so many people are too rough when transplanting and than comes the idea that you can't transplant an auto but that is in fact not the case. Charge your new pot the same as your old pot, be gentle not to mess with the roots. If done properly there is no reason it should slow down the plant.

Medium and a bit higher PH requirement trip most up. But a big world. We both have ours. Glad yours works. Sharing mine as it is non profit motivated. And from digging in the dirt. Not the net.

Some autos are hypersensitive and will stunt if you do the most minor things wrong. I'm always gentle when I transplant even with photos because I want the least amount of shock possible.

With a correct balanced base no more than a photo. Only lacking a grace "veg" if you F up.

And all this is strain dependent, not all genetics are created equal. The safest bet would be for him to just cut the bottom of the solo cup and transplant like that. Especially since he's new I'm trying to give the guy the most fool proof solution.

I am just bowing out. PM me after a decade or two. Enjoy your bounties. Mine keep me content. Your soil or equivalent on left. My base and nature on the right.

Please educate me on where I'm wrong. LOL. soil experiment.jpg

Not sure what you're even getting at but seems you have an ego issue. It's ok for two things to be true, or even for you to be wrong. No matter how much pride or time ya got in something.

Either way hopefully the new guys grow goes well.

I believe a plant being root bound could be part our fault... but I wing'd this solo cup.. and it's an auto.. but it was a runt branch that I cloned.
If I put some Mycoz in there I would have had a bigger plant. Next time I will. Even as a "Noob" I was successful in a 16oz cup from root riot/clone to harvest. I got a whole 10g dry off it.. but it's definitely more than what that little runt for a branch would have gotten if I would have left it on the plant.

Dope stuff. I remember when I thought autos couldn't be cloned. It's actually really helpful if you want to reverse a plant to make more seeds (if you're working with fem stock)

Apologies OP.

Just sharing accurate info root bound plants for OP's benefit. You state don't do. Ego is on your back. I honestly care less. Other than ending your way is the only way thing. You offer dead ends. I offer experience. Not ego. Love and understanding of plants to share not your dead ends.

May wisdom touch you in your years. Life is better.

Peace and apologies for the knowledge I tried to share if not helpful.

Yea I thought so too, but then I said to myself.. wtf else am I gonna do with this 50pk of root riot and this clonex? lol May as well experiment. It went well. I cloned 4 branches, killed 1.. gave 1 away, and harvested 2 of them. 1 is still hanging up.

There's no dead end in me giving beginner tips.. lol I'm literally giving the guy somewhere to start, it's his first grow.

Your ego is oozing in every response you make to me. I've said I'm sure your way works because I haven't grown every auto ever made. But you can't seem to accept that my advice is beginner friendly and pretty fool proof.. instead you completely write it off with no rationale behind it other than you think your way is THE way lol.

It's all good man, I get it. You're the master grower round these parts :eyesmoke:

Lmao never stop experimenting homie you never know what'll happen :weed:
