How long has this problem been going on?
What was the establishing technique? (seed or clone?)
What is the age of your plants?
How long have they been in the soil mixture they are in now?
Were they in the same mixture when they were seedlings/smaller plant? If not, what mixture were they in before?
How Tall are the plants?
What PHASE (seedling, vegetative or flower) are the plants in?
What Technique are you using? (SOG, SCROG etc)
What size pots are you using? (Include how many subjects to pot)
What substrate/medium are you using? What brand of soil mixture are you using?(percentage of perlite, vermiculite...etc?)
What brand Nutrient's are you using?
How much of each nutrient are you using with how much water? *Knowing the brand is very helpful*
How often are you feeding?
If flowering, when did you switch over to using Bloom nutrients?
What order are you mixing your nutrients? (example: veg nutes 1st, bloom 2nd ect)
What is the TDS/EC/PPM of your nutrients used?
What is the pH of the "RUN-OFF"?
How often are you testing pH/ppm/EC/TDS?
What method of pH test was administered? Using Strips? pH pen?
How often are you watering?
When was your last feeding and how often are you feeding?
What size bulb are you using?
How old is your bulbs?
What is the distance to the canopy?
What is your RH Factor? (Relative Humidity)
What is the canopy temperature?
What is the Day/Night Temp? (Include fluctuation range)
What is the current Air Flow? (cfm etc.)
Tell us about your ventilation, intake exhaust and when its running and not running ?
Is the fan blowing directly at plants?
Is the grow substrate constantly wet or moist?
Is your water HARD or SOFT?
What water are you using? Reverse Osmosis (RO)? Tap? Bottled? Well water? Distilled? Mineral Water?
If using tap water, what is the ppm/EC/TDS of the water right out of the tap?(Only if you have a tds pen)
If using RO,Distilled, mineral water, what is the ppm/EC/TDS without any additives?(Only if you have a tds pen)
Are you using water from a water softener?
Has plant been recently pruned, cloned or pinched?
Have any pest chemicals been used? If so what and when?
Are plant's infected with pest's?

Yes same mixture as seedlings, howeverI did add dolomite lime and bloom meal and more perlite to this mix once it was no longer seedling.
About 6 inches tall
vegetative
sog
small square containers about 4 inches wide and 5 inches deep
fox farm ocean forest, + 25% perlite
fox farm grow big
feeding every other day/when dry one teaspoon per gallon

wtf man wheres your HELPFUL info at?..........You act like you know some shit, copy and pasted that from another site did ya?! lol your a joke man! You think someones gonna waste their time answering 50 dam questions(that arent even yours!) with the hope of all hopes that nice ol bud is guna save the day! lmfao hating on what my diagnosis then you cant even answer!?! what did i say thats bullshit? This aint twenty fuckin questions man, i coulda asked him all that as well but shit man just stick to the basics and if you dont know the exact problem then start fresh with fresh water and nutes in turn giving you fresh stable ph.Next time if you know the answer and i was wrong be humble about it,state your answer to the question asked and correct me.Id thank you cuz i dont know everything! no need to be a fucking douchbag k?!? I was just trying to help at least i had some answers to give ...PEACE

My best advice to you is to lose the t5 get a 1000 watt hps, i meant to say when im diagnosing my plants and the leaves are dark green and ram horning(curling under) its usually overfert. But since your plant is yellowing from the bottom up its either a deficiency or a lockout plus overwatering... you cant overwater if you add a shitload of perlite which provides a ton of aiflow in the rootzone(like hydro). You can judge how much water your plant is using and or needs by lifting the pot to feel its weight. the lighter it is the more water it needs, let your plants air out and water every few days depending on your pot size. The t5 dosent produce as much light so its easy to overwater your plants. the more light you have,(7500 to 10000 lumens per sq foot)the more your plants will grow, in turn drinking more water. i was trying to say since you have no accurate ph reading capabilities you should just start fresh by flushing your plants with ph balanced nutrient rich solution then wait till pots air out and you should see a difference by then. hope this helps...
Telling someone to get a 1000w with no clue of their grow seems a bit unwise. Are you trying to start a fire dude?

Hey my plant is getting a little larger but the leaves at the bottom are turning yellow. What could possibly be the problem with them? I begun to use a tiny amount of Fox Farm Big Grow fertilizer with my every other day watering. Using t5s. FF ocean forest. Using water from my sink run through a water purifier. Could this be putting in too much salts or fluoride or nah?

The tips of many of the leaves are curling downward. What does this mean?
Could it be too hot? May the PH be a bad level? I have a lousy PH meter so I really am just going visually here.

Here are two leaves I snipped off that looked very unhealthy.

I already said that I'm using t5's in my OP so IN

bro just keep to yourself, just add grow info, answer the question, or shut the fuck up! did you even read this whole thread b4 you came in tag teaming, this aint MTV and i dont thrive off drama so no im not trying to start a fire! Your right with no idea the size of his room i shouldnt assume he needs a thousand watt. but did you even read my whole post i said you need 7500 to 10000 for optimal cannabis growth...i just figured since he said he was using a t5 arent t5 four foot long? i think there are 2 foot t5 but those are too weak!SO if its a 4 by 4 then get a 1000 watt light it you want dense fully developed buds...

If I used distilled water, all I need to do is put the grow big fert in it? I thought tap water had some micro nutrients I needed. But I can just use distilled water and FF grow big ?
While the bickering ensues ........ I use rain water.

Water from the tap is not static all over the country, I'm fortunate to live in a place with a less than average amount of treatment due to a 'good' source. You can usually find out about your local water from looking into your local water dept. website. I too am a hobbyist, I use a pur stage 3 and can control any issues pretty well at this point, I find I have to bump some cal. Good Luck!

T5's aren't weak man, you just have to know how to implement them. You ever grown with them before? I mean done an honest side-by-side. If you do it right, people are giving HID a run for it's money. In some situations, it is a totally valid option. Especially if you don't have alot of overhead space. Or, you just don't wan to deal with the cost of A/C and cooltubes.

nothing wrong with t 5 for seedlings and vegging plants for a few days but unless your doing scrog they are only good for veg cuz the light intensity is so weak like a foot away.(meaning the whole plant needs to be 3 inches away) Try it put your hand 3 inches under a t5... bright i know, now lower your hand 9 more inches and see how much light is gone! Ive used t5 for seedlings with good results. but Put that seedling 3 feet away from a 1000 watt metal halide and see what plant does better! It depends on your situation, but i believe that strong veg time increses yeild and potency TREMENDOUSLY! Dosent even have to be a long veg time just as long as its under intense light and good conditions. ANd my bad for lastnight to all i was in a shitty mood...peace
