T5s ain't gonna do nothing for you as far as supplement lighting goes. Waste of power. Just use the hps.

My point was that the T5 would have to hang directly under the HPS for it to make any difference on the grow.

That's what I use! 8,000k and 10,000...most people don't even realize that they can benefit from them...but if you have a good hps then it is unnecessary.....

I think he ment efficiency as GPW. That is actually a huge factor for me with an electric bill over 500$ a month. A hortilux BLUE is a great!!! Replacement for t5HO.

You must be growing bag seeds under a desk lamp. Heat is an issue at some point for any grow. Adding heat and consumption to a real grow is not something we would even consider unless it had a direct benefit.

There are 3 plants. Where are you gonna hang the T5 in his room to make any difference? Like I said, it would have to be directly under the HPS. Come on man. Are you guys really this simple and argumentative?
