i wouldnt underestimate the human brain. i believe that we are all the same (star stuff-carl sagan) but thats physical, mostly. i think every persons brain is made of the same stuff but reacts to situations differently based on experiences, so in a way we are all unique because no 2 people have lived the same life. its the classic question of nature/nurture, and i believe nurture has the ability to overcome nature.

I think he was talking less about knowledge and experiences. More like how the majority of people react to specific experiences and how that shapes them. In that affect we are all very similar.

talking less about experiences and more like reactions to specific experiences? its not how people react that shapes them, its the experience itself that shapes them, every reaction is based off previous experiences, otherwise you wouldnt know how to react. in this way, because no 2 people have the same experiences, we are all very different. we still have the ability to be similar because we all require the same shit to stay alive, we all have similar bodies and experience the world in a similar fashion. are we still talking about eating pussy????

i like it, and without assumptions(aka "i wouldnt underestimate the human brain") its much easier to see life for what it is

a series of reactions and affirmations and repetitive conclusions. . now the big question is are these self evident to "you", "us", "anyone" or are they discovered through reflection or looked over for more desirable

reality . . .this is imho the essence of the human condition

first off i didnt necessarily mean you where underestimating the brain, just that i hold it in very high esteem.

how do you explain prostitutes then (just 1 example)? id say their life experiences brought them to the point of being a prostitute (most of them), not because it was in their dna. also, a child (with less life experiences) would act differently than an adult in a situation of crisis. in fact i believe that a child would seek out an adult in a time of crisis, which is natures way of showing that nurture holds the trump card.

hmmm, I read somewhere that men are attracted to ladies wearing high heels because it makes them appear more venerable...like the guy sees the woman as needing to be protected and they like that. I'm not sure that is true but wearing heels certainly does get their attention.

I'm not sure what the younger generation guys like but I know when I was in my twenties, the guys liked the girls who were more feminine. If I worn out jeans, I might get a whistle, if I worn out a skirt, I'd get all kinds of attention. Guys like to be proud of their ladies but they also want to be appreciated themselves. If you are in a relationship, one of the most hurtful things you can do is deny your man sex. If the woman can cook, she gets bonus points. They hate being questioned in front of their guy friends. Most of them say they hate makeup but yet are usually attracted to the females wearing it...they just don't know it. Men love comfort, most would prefer never to wear a suit or tie in their lives. I believe most guys are very straight forward, if they ask a question, they want a yes or no answer. Some women will try to give an explanation before the answer and that frustrates them. Women use way more words to get a point across then men do. I envy the relationships men form with one another, they seem to do it easier then females. Some guys could do with an extra helping of patience but for the most part, you all are pretty cool. Us ladies can get moody and that's got to be difficult to deal with.
