I'm more a hybrid of old school republican with a dose of liberalism when it comes to rights. If you had a scale of 10 to zero to 10 with left and right representing the extremes, I'd wind up somewhere around 2 or 3 to the left.

I plan on it.
Your view of both parties is very narrow. Extremists have overtaken both
This is true. Just check who donated to the "RepubliCrats". Billionaires who buy Politicians and control the society.
"There is no doubt that generations of ruling class Republicans and Democrats have failed the American people", said Jo Jorgensen, 2020 Libertarian Candidate for President. "We have been promised over and over, and what we have continued to get is more of the same" she continues.

Naive. That just benefits Trump.

Republicans and Democrats continue to fight over which one best knows how you should live your life. Libertarians know it's best to live life without the approval of any political party. Voting for either RepubliCrat is a wasted vote because it ensures the continued wasteful spending and programs that inflict harm on the people they are supposed to protect.

That almost sounds really good and all, but is pretty much void of anything that deals with reality. The Democratic party has been working towards representing the people in every district across our nation and doing the work that needs to be done for those areas to thrive. Unfortunately the Republicans ever since the 70's have been running the Southern Strategy and trolling anything not in the Wealthy White Heterosexual Male Only agenda as some 'ism'.

And since the 80's when the Republicans peeled away the protections of the American citizens to not be lied to by our news media unchecked. And right now Trump is using that along with his help from the Russian military to attack our citizens with nonstop propaganda in an attempt to keep power in Trump.

Pushing a third party this year just feeds into that, because anyone not voting for Trump has a clear choice, any vote not for Biden this year is a vote for Trump. Acting like the Democratic 'establishment' has not been doing the work of the people when they have only had 6 years to get things done in the last 50, and had deal with Republican recessions.

Lets try to get a string of Democratic victories in DC before we write them off for a third party is my opinion.

There is a reason the Russians are pushing this message. I suggest we don't listen to them.

We have been voting for the "Other" Party for years. All we get is the same crap in a different wrapper. We need change, real change, not just another bunch of broken promises that only increases debt and inflation. A vote for the two party system is just a vote for more of the same. "We are the Power", states Sike Cohen VP Candidate. I invite you to listen and learn. He will even answer questions from the people.

Then why are they a political party?

They were founded in 1971 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

And since then they've accomplished exactly jack shit.
America has two of the worst choices for President in the two party system running this election. The Libertarian Party has the most qualified and able choices available this election. We should even have more choices but the present system only limits choices. We need less Government restrictions and real free trade.

No one who believes in democracy would come up with such a system today. No one would argue, with a straight face, that the rights of the few outweigh the rights of the many. Imagine, for a second, what would happen if politicians were to propose that we reallocate votes in such a way that every city dweller gets one vote, every suburbanite gets two, and every rural resident gets three. Those politicians would be laughed out of office. Yet we accept, without much question, rules that make the Senate even more inequitable and extreme.

Yeah I think I may have even actually signed up for the Green party around 2003, still voted Democrat to have a shot against Bush, but it wasn't enough. I read all kinds of books and blogs and felt like I really understood it, because 'they all lie' and 'both sides suck' BS.

But then I learned enough economics to get a couple degrees in it and there were too many holes in their 'logic' and realized that we are better off voting in responsible Democrats and forcing the Republican party to grow up and start voting in non-troll candidates to 'own the libs'.

Later I remember hearing all the same talking points about Jill Stein, I just dismissed them at the time, but unfortunately we got attacked hard by the Russian military and I had to stop being naive about the actual dangers of the small % of votes that the '3rd' parties draw, because as nice as Stein sounded, later we learned she was being actively pushed by the Russian military to help trump.

Even worse is when we got to see the pictures of her, Flynn (Trump's felon buddy), and Putin all chilling in 2015.

Wow a poll! No way that people are getting slammed with propaganda about Biden nonstop painting things like his stutter as a mental issue.

President is not a cult leader, we don't need a president to pick up a rifle and rally our frontline, nor fly a jet into a alien spaceship. We need a person who is fundamentally decent and has proven for the last 50 years to not have been a Russian puppet to appoint qualified experts into all the cabinet positions that have been woefully understaffed during Trump's 4 years and sign the legislation that the hopefully Democratically controlled House and Senate pass to his desk to get our nation to work.

Watch any of Bidens full speeches and conversations and you will see he is nothing like what the propaganda is hoping like hell to get the American public to believe.

I don't get why you wont vote Democrat and just consider this, if you don't vote why bother coming here and spewing nonsense. when you don't vote it's a vote for Trump. WTF ????

i made the same mistake but i was older supporting Sanders and registered 3rd Party; with Florida, voter suppression is the point if you're not red.

cruelty is the point, Bear..the ability to be someone from flyover country and call to 'lock her up' and looking for a fight..he says the things they want to hear- legal or not.

Bloomberg's throwing in $100M for Florida, so i'm hopeful..that state needs to be watched; it's always down to Florida where the republican wins- always..last time a dem won (Gillum) +.5%, DeSantis ended up with +.5% which comes out to +1%..that's a lot to come up with in the 5 days or so allowed for recount.

good news is Trumpy* won't put in any of his own money if he has some..he's pissed off all his big donors specifically the Nevada/Florida connection Sheldon Adelson.

Trumpy* is broke..where will he get the Mnuchin?..i mean money?

Funny that most of you are all in a single party... They both suck, and cant/dont accomplish shit.
Until there is some sort of bipartisan teamwork I am unaffiliated. It is like nursery school students took over our country. Is it any wonder that no one qualified wants anything to do with it?
Weren't you one of the boat guys who got drunk and sunk for Trump.

Yep, shame they couldn't add Pot Grower and smoker to their resume, such as your career.
Better than treasonous asshole, or Trumper if you prefer. What's the matter, you don't know basic wrong from right? Trouble with treason recognition? If you're not against Trump & the republicans, you are not a patriot, so stop waving the flag, it's a desecration of the national symbol in the hands of fascist traitors to the country and constitution. The only vets who support Trump are the racist suckers and losers he spoke of.

Republican here. Let the haters hate. It's all they have.
Naw, They've got facts too, justice is coming, not retribution or revenge, they are better than you, you are a fascist traitor who wants to install a psychopathic King supported by an oligarchy of billionaires. What's in it for you? How does your family benefit?

I believe I know more about US national politics and history than you, I also know about morals and ethics, something you overlooked in your "analysis" of the situation. Google US constitution and get back to me, hint, it is a quintessential liberal document that Trump regularly violates.

Being unaffiliated means you don't know right from wrong and you seem confused on moral and ethic issues, legal ones too.
