I really would think my RO water would be about neutral PH... And my other houseplants and garden plants do ok. My light feeding made em worse it looks like. Eagle Clawing. I think Ill look for a medium priced PH meter tomorrow. Or maybe just aquarium test stips for my water.
One other thing I use is BT granules for the gnats. A sprinkle in my water each time.

I'll have to add a pic tomorrow, thought I had an old one at least close up, but it looks kinda different actually. It varies alot this damage...

I had similar issues though not as extreme with my outdoor grow using all FF nutes and FFOF soil in 7 gallon peat pots. I flushed with fresh RO water and added Cannazym and it went away as fast as you can say Stinkweed.

Good Luck,

So I got an aquarium ph test.(best I can do , lucky mortgage went thru) Reads 6.0- 7.6, and my tap is probably quite a bit above 7.6. Three stage RO is probably 7.6. And I watered a pot that is just starting to show signs with RO. Run off was about 7.1. Gonna finally pick up some ph down and see how it goes. How low should I go? Flush all my pots with 6.0 adjusted water?

""Too high or too low a pH can lock up nutrients in the form of un-dissolvable salts and compounds, some of which are actually toxic to the plants. What then happens the grower then tries to supplement the plants diet by adding more fertilizers, throwing off the pH even more and locking up even more nutrients. This type of problem is seen more often in soil mixes, where inconsistent mixing of the medium's components leads to "hot" spots.""

Sooo.... I tested water I use alot from a water machine and it's like 6 or lower!!! Very surprised, I'm in hardwater country. So maybe it is PH fluctuation causing my trouble. I tend to use different sources, mainly this acid stuff. Then tested one of the flowering pots that's more affected. And the runoff is way acid. 6 or lower. I've seen pics of ph fluctuation looking just like mine, and dismissed it as BS..

You should double check with your nutes as to the right range. For example, in my soil, i ph to 5.8. When i was running hydro, I ph'd to 5.4. Before I was getting lockout because my ph was either too high (6.5) or too low (4.8) and I wasn't checking it. Once I started checking and stabilizing it, all problems gone.

And purple stems can be indicators. Not all plants are green. I have 7 Qrazy Trains from seed and they all get the same food , same care, same everything, but two of them are purple, and the test buds I have going are also starting to purple. Purple stems don't always make purple weed, but it's not accurate to say that all plants should be green and anything aside from that is a deficiency. It all depends on your strain. My purple kush mom shows purple stripes and purple stems on the fan leaves, but the leaves themselves are bright green. Of the four i started with, this was the only one that had those features, and whey went to flower, it was the darkest, fastest purple I had, so I kept it as a mom.

Rechecked the real acidic water today and it's up to 6.4 or so. Thought it might come up some in time. Maybe it is cal mag I need?
