I agree 100% with this. I usually run a dome at 85ish% rh. And I always to atleast 20/4 or 18/6 clones root faster with a night cycle. Just as you stated roots grow during night cycle.

Edit: the only thing I disagree with is the cutting of the fans. It cause the clone to slow down its transpire rate. Helps them hold water/food longer.
if your humidity is 100%, it cant transpire. I do it without cutting the leafs, and they dont even yellow, until Once you start to see the tips start to burn look, that is the clue roots are starting to grow, and are now tapping into the energy reserves to build roots at that point. this is another reason to take good size clones with alot of leafs, because the roots will set faster, because it has energy reserves( leafs) to tap into once she is ready to start eating. I just think not cutting the leafs, reduces the stress on the cutting, and allowing it to focus on fixing its main wound, or the cut itself.

Again, these are just my personal observations, Im far from major experience, as its a hobby moreless, lol, but I do try to figure out the least stressfull aspect of the process.

Im going to try some more, but I heard cinnamon and aloe mix is like rooting steroids, so thats the next experiment, lol.
