What's For Dinner Tonight?

Not much foraging to be done in central london :/ Only 3 and a half more years and i can get the hell out of this place.

I've never found any imported fruit i enjoy. Maybe it's all these sprays they're using to stop them over-ripening. I just don't like supermarket fruit. Most of the time it's impossible to find anything that's ripe, and they even started marketing stuff as "ripen-at-home", basically meaning it was picked too early! Got to buy avacado weeks in advance.
yeah when i buy avocados they sit for like a week first ..kinda sucks they are pricey too so i buy em as a treat

braised some pork last night and put it in the crockpot all day today :)

made a sandwich with the shrredded pork, coleslaw and cheese with tots

Inspired by the PIE thread. Chicken pot pie. My girlfriend brought over all the ingredients, but I didn't have a glass pie plate. The skillet actually works better. The bottom crust comes out crispier.

It may just be me but I can eat (woof-down) a cheese burger almost anytime...
"SLAYER BURGER", anyone? (with a side of anger...:fire:)
My version anyway

went for lunch with the missus to a new local cookhouse, made from two shipping containers!

Wild duck and pistachio terrine, missus had fetta cheese on toast with spiced red grapes and mint.

the container had a nice wood log burner in there too, felt like i was in some faux log cabin haha
