Ruth Kriss is got great steaks but, I absolutly hate Al A Carte menus. My favorite steak was the Kobi Flat Iron Steak I had at Mr. A's Resturant in San Diego. If you live in SD I highly reccomend this place for dress casual fine french dining. Its reservation only but you can get em through the website. Check out their menu, I did my externship here. Bon Appetite'

what do you constitute as aged beef though? 1 week? 2 week? aged in vacuum packed bags? beef is not ready until it has gone mouldy :)

what's kobe like in comparisson to say an 8 week hung angus fillet? i know it's meant to be shazam, but to get the good stuff shipped to the Uk i was quoted £20($35?) a steak/portion even at cost+10% (we're talking the raw meat, not a resteraunt made dish)

Google " Bonefish Grille" Probably one of the best seafood places to eat at, and i am very picky about seafood as i never normally order it from places,, but Man it's so damn good there.:hump::hump::hump:

Caramelize some minced/sliced garlic with your Olive oil,, it works well as a base for dry rubs to plus i think garlic is BOMB.

It works well with many dishes imo.

Will do Worm thanks , we usually saute some mushrooms to go along with the steaks...
I've been cock blocked I've given out too much rep in the past 24 hrs

Mmmmmm, MUSHROOMS *drools* I could chomp on mushrooms all day. so many different varieties to please the most difficult palate..

I use to go to this "Amish" Market up in Boothwyn Pennsylvania,, they would take these huge king oyster mushrooms and deep fry them, on the side they would give you a serving of melted habanero jack cheese. possibly the best $7 bucks i have ever spent.bongsmilie

Worm I watched a doc. on the Seattle area mushroom harvests , all the diff. verities , i would love to go up there for one of the mushroom festivals

All this food talk, I had to go and make some breakfast for me and the little one real quick:lol::lol:

You know what i was thinking,, how come you never see any restaurants that have a large selection of mushrooms prepped in different ways?

Plenty of mushroom lovers we need more DISHES!!

Make sure to have a selection of the "Amanita" family:hump: with a Hookah lounge and a big ass mushroom Fondue pot:lol:

That actually sounds good:-P
