You could try a jamaican jerk rub? I like using this mix best on pork chops, but it's good on anything. You don't have to let it sit a long time for the flavors to stand out either. I usually just pan fry as we don't have a grill yet, but you could cook the meat however you like.I'm thinking about making another porter house.. any suggestions on how to cook this one? yesterday i made it on the grille but i wanna add something new to it, so if anybody has any good recipes let me know!
You could blacken it with some cajon seasoning and sear it on an iron skillet. I do em like that all the time and the time and it's great.I'm thinking about making another porter house.. any suggestions on how to cook this one? yesterday i made it on the grille but i wanna add something new to it, so if anybody has any good recipes let me know!
I haven't had any Jamaican Jerk food in quite a few years. Thats a LOVELY Idea! Thank you Katt..You could try a jamaican jerk rub? I like using this mix best on pork chops, but it's good on anything. Just mix together and rub in
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp chili powder
1/4 tsp crushed garlic
1/4 tsp ground allspice (I don't use allspice, I just use like a pepper blend or whatever mix I have that looks good)
1 tsp lemon juice
I usually add more garlic than that too cuz I love garlic! Obviously that makes a fairly small amount so you'll probably want to double it or so, but just gives an idea of ratio I guess Precise measurements are not important
Your sense of humor is so easy to please.lol she said jerk rub
Another good ideal! but i think i want to do the jerk,, I think a cajun seasoning sounds very appropriate, perhaps 2morrow if not soon for sure. You could blacken it with some cajon seasoning and sear it on an iron skillet. I do em like that all the time and the time and it's great.
