Thanks.
They basically give away the used equipment that Us tax payers pay for. This truck had less then 10,000 miles on it when I bought it at auction for 5,500.
(I did my research before buying it.) Where else could you buy a farm truck thats so darn cool?

I'm building it. lol
28x80 with 30 plants.
The 24x64 cost me $2,200 to build, this will be its 4th season. I'm planning for 3 on this new one maybe a bit more.

It's been raining all day but I got another load of compost this morning. 12 cages built and 12 plants put in.
I was hoping to have all 30 plants in today. 18 more cages to make and 12 more boxes to build and fill.
Darn rain....

Continued from page 2 (dog fights)

So yesterday morning we had another dog fight, between our oldest dog (and the new 10 month old.

This new dog has been aggressive from day 1. It has completely changed the dynamics of our other dogs. But my daughter really wanted a dog of her own so I tried to make it work.

Then last night.... All out war, between the new dog and our old dog. I thought things were getting better, we hadn't had a fight in about 3 weeks.
I got tore up pretty good and my daughter got a couple punctures and a crushed finger. After we got the dogs all separated my wife took me and my daughter to the ER.
I had my mom take my daughter to her house and this morning I had the new dog put down. I had no choice, I couldn't let this dog go to another home.
This was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do.




On a more positive note. I did get the 12 boxes set and filled with compost.
I need to build cages for them so I can load them with plants. But my hands are to messed up to make the cages.

Damn, that sucks. Your going to need your hands all summer.

Wow, that's rough man. Sorry to hear about this. Looks like the new dog was trying to rearrange the pecking order of the pack. I hope everything stops now that its back to the original two pups. Onto a lighter note, your garden looks awesome! I can only dream about having enough space to do something like this. I need to get out of the city and move into the country asap.

Thanks everyone.
My daughter is doing much better. She's still pretty shook up about her dog though.
My wounds are healing. Im going to loose a few fingernails and it's hard to bend my thumb. Not to mention the swelling and throbbing.
I apologize if these photos upset anyone. I will take them down if necessary, for now I'll leave them as thumbnails.

On a more positive note. Some of our good friends have stopped over and they plan to come back and give us a hand getting some of our stuff done.
We have such good friends, I love them all dearly.
