WHats the deal here?

This big plant hasn't shown sex yet and its been 12/12 for 2 weeks. It does, however, have all these clusters on top of the plant. Whatchu think?


And this one is on another plant. Just wondering if this is what I want. Its a single hair, 2nd week of 12/12

Looks like a pre-flower.Looks female to me.

take a good pic of the "clusters" you mention.....if the "clusters" are a bunch of little ball lookin thing...congradulations you have a healthy baby boy.

Here's what I got on the clusters...

its male. I see no hairs. bummer.

you should wait longer before you decide sex on that one and also forget those 2 weeks of 12/12 don't start counting weeks til you see hairs

dude are you out of your gord or something? dont start counting till you see hairs? wtf? if it been under 12 12 for 2 weeks, its been in flowering conditions for 2 weeks. Those look like male "buds". Look closely, after 2 weeks it is showing.

If he didnt start counting flowering time till hairs showed up on that plant,he would never start counting...

The thing is, I have had males before and they showed the balls at the nodes. This plant has no balls at the nodes and thats what I was wondering.

Male fer sure.It must die!!! Unless of course you want seed then use it to fertilize your female. Males are hardly worth smoking.

im leaning towards male keep watching it.

i wouldnt pull it unless i was absolutely forsure...it would be a waste if it was a female and you killed it

ya i understand that...because there is no way that i have been doing this longer than ive been a member of riu. you know some us grow alot more than we post about on here. so ya, i understand that someone that doesnt even know how to sex a plant wouldnt wanna take someone elses advice.

there are two different plants and one is for sure female so what are you talking about and if you start counting before it shows sex your an idiot cause flower means when it's producing flower or hairs and calyx

my bad, didnt realize thre were 2 different plants, but no matter who says what the plant in the very last pictures posted is a male.......and an honest question for you sticky.....if it takes time for a plant to show sex once you put it into 12/12 lighting, but you arent counting that time as flowering time then what would it be considered? veg time? i wouldnt think so.... so if a plant has an 8 week flowering period it would be more like 9-10 weeks of 12/12? correct? just wanna make sure were on the same page. I mean in an indoor setting, once you flip your lights...technially you go into flowering stage right?(and I know that it takes a bit for the plant to change over) people dont say "i vegged for 5 weeks, had a 2 week"nothing" time, and now its flowering." they say "i vegged for 5 weeks and then put it into flower." correct?

i veg til they show sex so i don't have this problem but have done it the other way in the past and it took like 13 weeks cause of that logic

edit you can consider it flower but i don't cause i'm sure thats how the breeders determine flower time
