My tip for growing MJ is, "He who hesitates is lost". React quickly to growing issues such as; high temps, stretching, pests & etc.

I think its funny people stress how important nutes are for all growers, and in my plants i feed them like 3 times the whole life, and they are not too hungry, definitely keep it simple, just be careful not to over-do it.

I use a digi scale and a spray bottle to keep the RW cubes / cuttings at the perfect weight every day.

It's a good point. My friend who has been growing for a long time put it like this.. It's like dog or cat years -- if a MJ plant only has a life span of say 100 days, every day is 1% of it's life. 1% of the life time of a 75 year old person would be like 9 months. That said, every day in a plants life is 9 months in people life. So, if you have a pest or whatever, react fast is definitely very important!

Technically, I believe cannabis is an herb. It is the highest level of plant life; there is nothing else like it in the world. Therefore, it is very offensive to me to call it a "weed" since weeds are undesirable and nuisance plants.

My "secret" is not to love them to death. I'm talking about feeding or watering them too much, and giving them plenty of light.

Leave em alone.

tend to them, but dont fret over them every second of every day. one yellowing, or dead leaf is no big deal, dont try and correct a problem that isnt there.

Patience. they will be ready when they are ready, not a week before....

you wanna know a nice little tip .? Don't eat yellow snow :)

But really , foliar feed your plants from veg to flower. I usually stop foliar feeding when nugs form.

Also really really really focus on your plant and its root zone from day 1 to the last day.ANYTHING YOU CAN DO TO BUILD A STRONG STEAM AND A HEALTHY ROOT ZONE DO IT !! Every bit counts. If you have a healthy root system when your plant is young , you will be rewarded in flower.

Tips for growing huh? Horse shit has to be high on the list of what make my plants flourish, the right amount of water, light and food. All that being said to me once the basics of growing plants, any type of plants and a understanding of biology then it comes down to reading your leaves. Root problem? it will show in your leaves early, hungry same deal, burns or def, it's all in the leaves.
Over or underwatering is a big problem for newer growers, a little tip. This is a pain in the ass but here is what I have done to solve whether to water or not to water. When I put my soil in my container, say a 5 gallon bucket with the soil pretty dry then I water the empty bucket. You have to measure the water, My soil will hold just a bit over 1 gallon of water per 5 gallons of soil. So then when I water if it doesn't hold at least 3 liters or quarts then I am watering too soon. Once you do this a few times you will start to know how many days between waterings depending on the weather conditions if outside and inside will be the same most everytime. Remember the days change as the plant becomes bigger but after a cycle of two there won't be much guess work left.
After that it comes down to patience.

I run a modified 12-1 cycle in veg to avoid hAving light whore stretching plants . I set my timer for my lamps at 30 min on 30 min off for 12 hrs then 1 hr on two off the rest of the night.. They get very bushy and thick stems... Cheaper too

Oh an I enjoy a light spray with fulvic acid it has been proven to increase vigor in foliar applications of many crops .

One last one is to avoid a salty media by flushing with humics and carbs for the beasties that help all roots nitrogenfix remember Even in hydro the root try to colonize the system with bacteria and I believe it can be avoided as I have when I would flush the blocks and root on my top feed/nft system.. Once awhile In all media helps with micros..
